This truck isn't that loud, BUT I SWEAR IT SOUNDS PERFECT!!!
Almost no noise in the cab is icing on the cake!
I have always wondered if anyone has ever been wrecked backing or pulling out into that busy street.
I'm pretty sure it happened before Lol'
Can't wait to hear the 7.3 with a muffler delete. I'd probably delete that big dual in/single out resonator too, this is pretty quiet still.
I own a '20 Tremor with the godzilla and 2 wks after buying it i cut off the 2 in to 1 front resonator and welded on a flowmaster scavenger Y pipe and ran that in to a Borla XR1 mini in to another Borla XR1 20" case. All flowy thru all single pipe. Its very deep like only a big block can be
@@richvangorder3900 Does it still have the medium resonator before where the stock muffler was, and the tiny resonator in the tailpipe? I figured those 2 resonators would be all the muffling I need.
Im gonna true dual mine when i get one
@@richvangorder3900 that’s pretty false lol small blocks sound pretty deep to
@@bobbycabbagestalk1492 your right. Its false
this is perfect!! quiet and low low rumble during startup and idling. and perfect when you step on it!
I like the sound of the 6.2 over the 7.3
@Keanan Fischer I just bought a 7.3 and I agree with you.
I went with the stainless Magna- flo on mine. It's perfect. Just enough start-up growl. Then, smooth out on take off (without annoying interior drone), then Mustang Growl on the giddyup!! Lost 30 pounds of weight, and got a bit more ponies. Perfect!!
Somebody take in a 7.3 gas and true dual that bad boy
Your idea go ahead!
I’m doing it now. I’ll post a video this weekend
It’s done!
@@marcusburrell6566 Sounds badass bro
@@ThefuckyallLookingAt Thanks I need to do some rolling vids. It’s insane!!
Why so many mufflers and resonators WTF
It’s a work truck and it’s a massive engine so they quiet them down.
You should see the 7.3l lol
Trucks have to meet emission standards.....rip ford 7.3 power stroke 😢
I like that they did a little beast mode take off. But I wish that exhaust was a little louder
Not too loud but perfect and I mean perfect tone.
Darn that muffler delete really wakes up the 6.2!
Sounds great.
That video right there absolutely made my mind up about my next truck will have the 6.2 V8 gasser
dang i want that on my 2015 6.2L It blows me away this engine has that many sound devices from factory
i wanna do this to my truck it sounds so good
i like the sound outside the truck. How is it on the inside. I am interested in doing this but want to make sure I don't end up with the cabin droning that so many exhaust systems create. Please let me know.
How much would it cost to get that done?
How’s the drone?
Hmmm, is this legal for one...? And, would this cause any problems with the engine...? I have the 2019 version of this cew cab, but with the long bed.
6” tip is good. I think an 8” tip would be too big. I don’t get those huge tips. Sounded good, but I could have gone slightly louder.
Maybe split the difference and go a 7 for rumble? I wouldve had them take that 3 up to a 4 out of the dual in/out, a 5 where the factory secondary ends, and then 6 inch tip but not chrome, just like a basic grey steel tip.
6.2, tried and true.
Damn, look at the Avg MPG!
When you buy a big pickup with a large v8, most people don't concern themselves with mpg!
That's what I'm getting on my 13 5.0
@@BobSmith-mc7uq agree
Prius lover...
I get 11.2 mpg on my 2017 6.2. 11.7 before the muffler delete and level kit on 35s
Is that just the stock exhaust with the muffler removed?
I’m waiting for the 7.3 godzilla
@James M Prove it.
Sounded better than I thought it would with all the resonators 👍 that m wanting one too specially after that take off 🤘
Any highway drone?
Delete all the resonators and mufflers.. and install a single 4 inch system with a chambered or straight through muffler..
Awesome truck, great video. I’m putting similar wheels and tires on my new white crew cab F260. I might have to do some exhaust modifications now.
F260?
Sounds nice, good setup.
My local muffler shop said they couldn't do this and they would have to take off everything from the cats back
I'm looking to buy one of these trucks too. They look great
How is the 2011-16 exhaust set up?
I wish someone would bring one in and do a dual job not just a muffler delete.
8.5 mpg?!? Holy shit
yeah that's not true; he musta put a 5$ walmart tune on the truck and ruined it.
You atleast get 15mpg.
@@sixpest lmfaoo seems about right
@@sixpest depending on what he's been doing with it. Towing and rodding it are going to drink fuel.
@@sixpest no sir. If you run 'em hard 8.5 - 9 mpg, drive normal, 11.2 - 11.7 mpg (constant). I drive 2020 F250 6.2 gasser
Fact!!@@edezalez1
How many damn resonators does this truck have? Jesus!
He probably thought it would sound the same as being fully deleted
I cut off everything minus the cats. It’s a true duel with some cheap auto zone piping lmao. It’s dumped right under my passenger side seat. Awful drone sound. But it sounds damn good lmao.
I have the 2020 F250 XL with 8 foot bed and I'd sure love to have the same work done to my beast. BTW, can you put a turbo on the beast as well to give it a bit more hp? Enjoyed a full-watch. 👍🏽🙂
I don't think I've heard a loud exhaust from these guys yet....
Very cool thought 2020 was the 7.3 didn't know could both gasers
How did you put a 4” inlet tip on a 3.5” pipe?
its so quiet. Maybe resonator delete
I have a 2019 f350 6.2 how big is the exhaust?
I like the deep sound, but needs to be a bit louder.
I would like to get the same truck but have a 6.7 power stroke and get it deleted and fully straight piped
Do you expect a little bit better gas mileage as long as you stay out of it the gas that is
Would love to hear some more 6.2 setups. 11-16 or 17+. Currently have the rear muffler and coffee can resonator deleted on my ‘15. Getting ready to replace the front muffler(2 in 1 out) with a y pipe and dynomax racebullet
Here is a perfect true dual to consider over this nonsense. ruclips.net/video/Lwt1HkjTjVk/видео.html
I have Stainless Works full system on my 2015, includes full length headers, high flow cats, mufflers, etc. it has quite the bark when building revs.
I wonder if this is what the new 6.2l mustang will sound like
She chocked up bad
Could be a little louder, just a little bit lol but those trucks are badass. I’d personally get the diesel though.
Seem true duals would been better, but to each there own . Sounds good tho
Yep!
omg buddy perfect nice...
I went In to my local exhaust shop and asked for a muffler delete on my f250 diesel 2020 and he said it can’t be done because of my dpf ?
I have one, 2020 with only 16k miles.
Why are super duty’s so quite compared to f150s? I’m thinking about getting an f250 but I’m confused why they sound so quite compared to the 5.0??
They rev lower.
Just curious, was the final resonator just before the tip factory? I have a ‘17 6.2 and my factory exhaust matches except for the rear resonator, I would like the same sound this truck has
That is correct
Will the muffler delete help, "much" on mpg ? It certainly made the truck sound better.
Not really. A slight gain, though. You lose close to 30# of weight, though!!! 😊
I thought you wanted an AT4 foo
Could you help me with my situation and if my exhaust shop is being goofy? I have the same stock exhaust setup as the truck in this video and want to do the exact same thing you did with the muffler delete and 4" inlet to 5" outlet MBRP tip welded on. I called the most custom muffler / exhaust shop around me (not a muffler man or tuffy) and explained what I was looking to do. They said they only have up to 3" tubing to work with, which is what sounds like you also used in this video. They acted like they couldn't do the work - not sure if they didn't quite understand what I was asking.
The factory inlet tubing before the muffler is 3" while the outlet tubing all the way to the tip appears to be around 3.5-ish". I'm assuming you flared out the 3" tubing to fit onto the factory 3.5"? Is that not something that most exhaust shops have the ability to do? Feel like it would be. Then in regards to the tip you welded on, how would you get a 4" tip to fit on / weld so nicely onto 3.5" tubing? Seems like the one you put on would fit super loose and be unable to weld, but definitely not the case from what I can see.
Just trying to figure out what is common practice for exhaust shops. Thanks!

To my understanding, the 2017-20 6.2L's have a factory 3 5/8" OD exhaust tubing while the exhaust tip you added is a 4" ID. Do you have to weld those on in order for it to work? Or can you use the threaded tightening option?
Weld
My question is with the efficiency of the 7.3 why anyone would bother with the 6.2? From what I understand the 7.3 gets better mileage due to the variable displacement oil pump.
Price and maybe reliability questions with the 10 speed.
Because the 6.2 is known to reliably hit 300-400k, the 7.3 hasn't proved that yet
6.2 tried and true. Can only get 7.3 with 1” speed which is still questionable.
Handicap but can drive that truck and get in and out. Rig up a trailer too. Someone doesn’t like walking or is lazy. Probably collecting a disability check from your OT too. At least they got stuck with a gasser
They got some more deleting to do
why does it need 2 resonator ? ?
Should have had a 8”tip
Pretty impressive how low u had to go under the lift cause I know u couldn't take the lift up to high with that big ass truck. I could squat that low.
Sweet truck
Take the rest of the mufflers and resonators off and put some true duals on er
I have the same truck but red can u tell me the rims and tires he has on it and sizes!! They look great
I have a similar truck, and just upgraded to 20" rims with 33" RT tires with similer offset, looks very similar. I like the sound as is on this, not too loud. And my preference for tire size is for more general purpose overlanding. I'm going to look into maybe doing something like this...
What exhaust ?
So did you remove the catalytic converter?
You must not of watched the video because he showed the whole system
8.5 mpg lol
What's the point?
Question, why is the 5.0 louder then the 6.2 motor its just something I've noticed anyone???
Probably due to the variable cam timing
5.0s make more rpms. 6.2s are low rpm grunts. Hence, it's just naturally quieter till you mash the loud pedal!! 😊
How much does this cost?
Call us at 615-612-6244
ill take my muff delete on my '04 V10.
I get 7.3MPG must be nice to get 8.5😂
Why ?
8 inch tip? Ya, no.
I thought doing this would void warranty?
I learned this recently. Manufacturers cannot void warranties legally, they can only deny service if the issue area is directly caused by a modification not done by a dealer.
@@jv6miata even if youre paying off the vehicle?
@@rydeath123 Correct
Still way too quiet. Take the resonators off all three of them. Then it will sound mean as hell. And my chevy will burn them alot further than that. 🙄🙄
Take the resignator off it’s to quite
I expected more honestly
2020 with 35k miles? damn
i know right. i have a 2019 with only 3K on it 😂 its not my daily driver but still.
My 2020 has 1700 on it 😂
sounds too weak for a big truck like that
When doing a muffler delete people should always get rid of resonators. Not unless running no cats
Delete the other one 2 in one out
What exhaust part # did you use for the muffler delete part
Way too quiet. Take all that stuff off and true dual the truck.
Sounds factory
Yea 90s factory loud
Way too quiet
Still sounds the same
Sounds weak af
Damn this guy is annoying
Way to Quite
sounds like a bitch truck to me, would never waste my money on one
Still too quiet.
