But what is best for mandibular advancement class 2? My children need it and I’m torn between invisalign and braces…. What is best? I’m not prioritizing cost at all. I’m prioritizing effectiveness. If i knew both were just as effective I’d choose invisalign for them in a second! But does it work well for jaw advancement? I myself had invisalign and it worked really well EXCEPT two of my molars didn’t rotate as planned! It’s not a big big deal but in my case it seems that invisalign wasn’t as effective as braces would have been for molar roation…. So that is why I’m beginning to wonder if invisalign is good for most things but maybe not the best option for more complicated issues…. So the question is if jaw advancement is too complicated for invisalign? Could someone please help me by sharing their personal and/or professional opinions? Thank you so much in advance!!!!!!!
I’m getting them in two days I’m 16 and my dentist said she will manage to bring my jaw forward with mandibular even though I’m 16 but let’s see if it’s true or not.
@@s_sehaj_yt12 oh wow! Best of luck to you!!!!! Are you a boy or a girl? The reason i ask is because they said my son could still do the mandibular advancement because boys’ growth spurts happens later. For my daughter they said that firstly, her situation wasn’t as pronounced as my son’s, and secondly she had already hit her growth spurt.
what is your retention plan, how stable is the occlusion, what is relapse rate, any long term result study tks
Dr. can a class 2 be fixed without the wings in a still growing patient with elastics?
Yes! Class II correction is possible with elastics as well. However patient compliance is a must.
