Exactly. The left and these student SJW would have you believe that Slavery is just a British thing, or racism can only be done by white people. Every other ethnic group are never racist. This is a component of the recent riots in the UK and the accusation of two tier policing. That regular white people were out protesting (not far right as they were portrayed), for multiple reasons. One being that certain ethnic groups are racist towards white people in the UK verbally, or just by their actions. But nothing is done about it. The police don't act (unless it's the other way around). It's not even talked about that white people can be the victims of racism. That was another reason for those riots.

Always struck me when poeple come to the west and then complain about everything about the west instead of being grateful of the opportunity. Take Canada, after ww2 they've welcomed a lot of people from europe (portugese, italian, irishman, and many eastern european countries) and today it's mostly from middle eastern and african countries. The europeans that came here we're grateful and really embraced to country , the people and the culture. They started buisness and got involved in their community. Immigrants come here today with a feeling that they deserved everything and that the whole western civilisation has abide to their way of life, the problem is it should be the other way around.

I totally agree. My grandfather came to Wales from Italy after WW2. During the war he fought in the Italian resistance movement against the Nazis and Fascists. One of his jobs was smuggling wounded RAF airman that had been shot down, over the mountains into Switzerland. After the war he was granted British citizenship because of the role that he played. He came to this country and worked hard and did well for himself. He was proud to be Italian but he was forever grateful to the UK because he appreciated the opportunities this country gave him and he integrated within his local community. He believed that you should never get anything unless you earned it. It's a pity a lot of immigrants coming here today don't seem to think this way. My grandfather would hate what this country has become.

I always argue that colonization were successful because the Colonizers have a special taste for blood. It doesn't affect that conscience like it did others.
Most nation that were colonized have culture or religion that make them treat outsiders with respect and this was exploited by the colonizers.

Qatar and free speech: "The authorities continued to curtail the rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, including by arbitrarily detaining individuals for exercising their human rights.
In 2023, activists received reliable reports confirming that in mid-2022 the Criminal Court of Appeal in the capital, Doha upheld the convictions against brothers Hazza and Rashed al-Marri, both of them lawyers, for offences that included contesting laws ratified by the emir, “threatening” the emir on social media, compromising the independence of the state, organizing unauthorized public meetings, and “violating” social values online. They had been sentenced to life imprisonment. The charges related to speeches they made or poetry published online critical of the country’s electoral law that discriminates against members of al-Marri tribe.
Two activists imprisoned for online posts were released after serving their sentences. One of them, Abdullah al-Mohannadi, was released in August after completing an eight-month sentence imposed for posts and activism relating to the National Campaign for Travel-Banned Citizens. However, he remained subject to a travel ban." Amnesty International

Qatar and 'Free Speech' said no one ever, except in forums like this in Bradford. You never see these words in the same sentence outside of forums like this one.

The Arab/Islamists are incapable of being honest about their own countries and culture. They just can’t do it

It's interesting that those talking about slavery want to close free speech concerning it when confronted with actual facts, including their own 'ethnic minority' trading in slaves for millennia before the Europeans, and it was the British Empire who indeed ended it after stopping it themselves. These are inarguable facts.
Then the Yank says that wasn't the question and bangs on about Trump.

Free speech should not give people the rights to destroy their own societies, families, communities, and themselves.

Ppl definitely enjoy the freedoms of Western countries, and in particular those freedoms in America. I think what they were saying regarding speech is, "Yes, we enjoy freedom of speech, but we want everyone to speak as we speak and just agree to agree with us." They don't like the fact that their speech is challenged. The UK has gone off the rails. You can not voice anything that doesn't align with the left. If things don't change in the US, we will follow suit. There's already some cities (not sure of whole states) that have made it a crime to "misgender" someone! Some states will TAKE your child if you don't affirm their gender or provide them with "gender affirming care." Thankfully, we have strong laws and the Supreme Court!!

The balls of these people. To complain about not having the freedom to express ideology that at its very core is the antithesis of freedom.
