They lost confidence on their looks, after the incident with Harunobu and Nagisa. Blond guy changed his looks into dull black haired nerd, and tries to help out at the school he transferred. He is more focused on studies. One day, former blond guy saw a group of girls bullying a nerdy pretty girl. Former blond guy records the incident, and reports the bullying to the principal's office. Saving the nerdy pretty girl, nerdy pretty girl falls in love with former blond guy. They spent time on the library, undisturbed. As for the other guy, he also now look like a nerd. He developed a hobby of building plastic model kits. He gained friends who has the same hobbies as he does. One day, a girl is being bullied by other girls for her ungirl-like hobbies. The guy decided to save the girl from the girls who are bullying. The guy succeeded in saving the girl who was getting bullied. The guy talked to the girl, about her hobbies. Turns out, they have the same hobbies. Guy told girl to hang out with him and his friends who have the same hobbies as her. The guy's friends of course, didn't get in the way of the 2. Model plastic guy and girl, spent their days, no longer bothered by the bully girls. Turns out, the guy's friends reported the incident to the teachers, and the bully girls got reprimanded for what they did.
I don't think a girl "whose super cold to him until she finds out his scar proves he saved her once" trope deserves to get with the guy normally, but this story handled it really well. I couldn't help but root for their chemistry when the possessive sister showed up and protag girl started casually making her jealous on purpose even before she was real serious about the guy. Every thing about the scene was so fun.
