An interesting detail I noticed is that the family in the beginning consists of two white cats and a black cat, but there’s only two white cats sitting on the bench in front of the house, and one of the inmates at the very end is a black cat.

Ah, yes. One of my deepest fears ever: to commit a deed so devastating that I'm not only ended up destroying my own life but also that of others, especially when I do not mean it to happen.
The bear's probably want his hat back and just call it a day, but sadly, he was probably so blinded by his wrath that he realized too late that he had committed a manslaughter that looks like a murder.

at the end when it zooms out theres a black cat holding a blue flower, at the start of the video the cats house had a sign showing the full family, which had a black cat but on the bench is only the white and spotted cat, the house also has blue flowers around it

Yeah I read a comment somewhere saying that the gator committed a frog genocide which explains why there’s one huge lily pad and a bunch of flowers on it. And the reason why the black cat is in jail was because he abused his family (mom and little jimmy) this hasn’t been confirmed but they are kinda dead giveaways

I believe it is talking about finding a new path than the ones that appear to be presented, as they are "loose" as the lyrics say around the same part. Since none of the choices seem to be optimal the protagonist wants to find a new option!
