Before you put the rosettes on to cover the holes in the doors, consider sinking them in so that they are flush with the body of the door.

Everything is coming together beautifully. You're very creative and making it unique which is something that will help other people who want to do renovations but don't know where to start. The tiling and countertops are amazing. I love the way you refinished the old doors and the cutouts. You've left no stone unturned. Once those walls are primed and painted, and cabinet doors are finished, your home will be worthy of a special showing on spectacular home renovations or TLC. 😊☘️

I kinda wonder why you made the boys rooms so small and didn't add a third upstairs guest bedroom or room for more kids. I know the entire downstairs is still to complete, but for ahuge house footprint I think the bedroom number and size seems out of sync.

Love seeing what you are doing. Those little discs are perfect! When our previous owners renovated our house, they put small things in an outside wall. There are two small doll faces (not scary at all, I promise). It’s super fun, after a few glasses of local wine, to tell guests there are two faces in the wall. Some find them very quickly and most don’t.

I watch this one channel where the guy uses nature to cover the holes in furniture. He finds sticks and branches to place them in the holes. He breaks both sides of the wood. Sand it down and used filler to work in the remaining cracks. After he's done you'll never know that a hole was there! It's genus that he came up with this idea.

Hi, I’m a 15 year old boy with ADHD and on the spectrum, and I’m a huge fan of your channel. Your children are the sweetest helpers ever! I’m so happy for you guys, and hope everything keeps going steady for y’all and you can take your time on the videos if you want to lol no need to rush! I love how you come up with these ideas to reuse some of whatever was in the school house or other historical places and honor the history of the school you are renovating and the children and people who went there. My grandma, who lives in a old late 1800-early 1900s house in the country in Nebraska about 10 miles northwest of the town, Elgin, NE, which I live in with my dad nearby, used to refinish a lot of old wood furniture for customers, and for family too! Doesn’t do it anymore though. Also loved the deadbolt cover ideas and the green shower, and EVERYTHING ELSE! 😄 I’m liking and enjoying the process! Thank you for your dedication of showing us and renovating this historical masterpiece! Watching out for new videos whenever! 😊 ❤

Also, did you happen to remember to run water to the fridge location? Only mentioning this because years ago after I remodeled our kitchen I had a "DOH" moment when we went to connect the ice maker. Best wishes, Moody.

Be very careful if you stain the wood before engraving/cutting. The stain must not be oil or solvent based. Using this before engraving/cutting increases the possibility of it catching on fire. Also, it's not a bad idea to get some fire blankets to have near the machine (they're on Amazon and under $20).
It's always been a secret dream of mine to live in an old school. I love this channel!

The jealousy I have for the Onyx countertop in the powder room is unbelievable. It is so unique that the colos blend in with the rest of the house. Tons of work, but the end results are worth it. You can hear it pride in your voice.
What was behind your choice of the color of the iblack countertop on the ikitchen island?
I love red brick, especially when it has the new/used look to it. It adds warmth and an even more nostalgic look, if that's possible. 😊
What an investment that printer was, but then again, with all of the creative ideas you have, it looks like you just saved yourself a ton of money in the long run. Bang up job on the mosaic work. Who wouldn't love a touch of that.
What do you think about off setting the neon sign in your cocktail room? I know its your home, but every mom has to throw in her own opinion. 😅😊

One door in our 100-year-old house has an annoying deadbolt hole too because the lock fell apart when I took it down to remove the lead paint, and we ended up using wood filler then painting over it.
