- A former producer on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" is speaking out on camera for the first time about what it was like working for the talk show host. "It was very toxic, very nerve-wracking, very stressful, we all walked on eggshells all the time," said Hedda Muskat, who was with the show when it launched in 2003. One alleged incident with executive producer Ed Glavin left her shaken. She described Ellen laughing after Glavin screamed at the crew, instead of reprimanding him for doing so. #InsideEdition

As you already stated, Ellen will obviously treat celebrities with respect because they're famous and have a lot of money. The producers she's treating like trash, on the other hand, don't have the same kind of limelight (to where their accusations might not be taken into consideration) and depend on Ellen for employment and income. (which is why some of them take the harassment and don't speak up about it at all).

It’s different when you work with someone on a daily basis as opposed to spending 2 hours or so for a show. She knew celebrities would talk negatively about her, so she showed her best front to them.

Hasan Minhaj is relatively famous and he's one of the few people I haven't seen trying to come to Ellen's rescue on this. I've seen his chat with Ellen on the show and it is completely uncomfortable. She kept on mispronouncing his name. When if you're the host, that is something you should clear up BEFORE the cameras roll. He at first gently tried to correct her on it but she repeatedly kept on saying his name wrong anyway. Hasan is Indian-American so he obviously gets this a lot from people not knowing how to say his name right. But I would think after he gently corrected them THE FIRST TIME, they would try harder to get his name right. And you can tell as it went on, Hasan was getting angrier and barely holding it back.
She was playing off her confusion and disrespect for laughs. And it was really sick. There is no way if she had Jon Stewart on the show that she would've ever treated Stewart like that. She never would've treated Stephen Colbert like that and mispronounce her name as coal-bert. John Oliver, it's a toss up. She may have viewed him as someone less famous and therefore, "beneath her". And so far, that's the most disrespectful interview I've ever seen from her. I'm sure someone will want to say she behaved far worse to someone else.

Carey refused to drink, Ellen got excited saying Mariah's pregnant and the audience cheered. In short, forced Carey to admit she's pregnant.
A few weeks later she had a miscarriage, and she only talked about it years later.
