Thank you for showing how to do the chairs without taking the whole chair apart. The videos I have seen about redoing chairs has kept me from doing mine. They need it so desperately due to little hand prints - other than a little boyʼs getting on and off the chairs - doesn't require an entire taking the entire thing apart and starting from scratch. Just a good cleaning. Thank you very much for this entire video. I feel more empowered to fix the gifted furniture and make it mine.
After watching this I think .. perhaps .. maybe.. LOL, I feel brave enough to recover a sad chair that has been 'waiting' to be lovely again. Thank you for the glimpses into the beautiful Pascal's games.
I loved the industrial look of the chair the last time Dimitri decided it was his scratching post, but this striped ticking is stunning. Not sure I would dare using stripes, but your technique hives me hope. I have a LOT of striped fabric.

Thanks for sharing! I have a chair that I’ve done once before. But, I used a plain fabric, much tricker with a print. Don’t try to hurry, is one of the best tricks!

My little "Queen" also picked a chair to busy herself with. Cats hate the smell of vinegar. A spray bottle with distilled water and vinegar "spritzed" on the furniture will deter your cat. Do not saturate. If the upholstery is clean there will be no water mark. I "spritzed" about twice per week.

For over a year now I have placed various cleaning appliances on the couch to prevent them from climbing up on it. Not a great decor look.🙄 Thanks a million for this tip. I wonder if it would work on my antique lace curtains. I have had to put so many beautiful and beloved things away since rescuing these two feral kittens.
