Just installed my new Haloview system on our new RV. I spent lots of time looking at reviews similar to this one before choosing the Haloview. One additional benefit of the Haloview RD7 is the ability to connect up to 4 cameras to the monitor. I do not recall if this is an option with the Furrion. I purchased the system with the rear camera, two side marker cameras and, for good measure, I purchased an additional camera to mount to the front of our tow vehicle. The Haloview’s ability to view all four cameras on screen simultaneously is another big feature in my book. I didn’t do an install video but if anyone is interested, I can provide some footage of the installed product with some explanations. Great review video and very accurate with respect to the Haloview system for sure.
I have several GoPros, so I slapped a Hero 7 on a suction cup mount. Stick it to the back of my camper when I’m backing up and connect to it wirelessly to my iPhone on the 2.4ghz range!
I drive around and through the DFW area. I had one installed before I pulled out of the dealer's lot. Makes lane changing in heavy traffic a lot less stressful
We have a voyager because our Coachman Apex Ultralight came prewired for it. As of last year nobody had adapter kits for their brands. Was considering a Haloview
@@NationalRVTrainingAcademy it’s not a bad camera, won’t say it’s the best. It gets the job done. The brand seems to be more of filling a product niche for a customer(Coachman) , rather than creating new innovative products like Haloview or Furrion.
We have a rear facing camera on the back of our Travel Trailer. I like it a lot. I dont use it for backing up. I like using my morrors much better, but it is nice to see what is behind you. Also, ours does have a microphone but we don't use it. We use walkie-talkies which allows 2-way communications.
Currently have the Echomaster unit that integrates with the GM in dash screen. Worked good on our TT but haven't installed it yet on our 5th wheel. 🤞 Hoping it will work. Also has the mirror cameras which come on when turn signals are activated.
I really wish someone would bring a Camera and TPMS all in one unit to the market! I hate having extra stuff added to the truck so to add 1 screen instead of 2 would be great ! I wish I could afford one of the newer super dutys that have trailer camera and trailer tpms integration options!!
I'm a solo... have operated 30-40' vehicles...always check out your surroundings, no matter if you have a travel companion because unless they drive, they don't have a clue!
This was not a fix, it was a review. Thought you might address how the Furrion with age clouds over as the camera lens is exposed to weather and UV over time. My Furrion is only three years old and that happened to me! I had to remove camera and use some products used to clear headlight lens’ which wasn’t easy but worked! Took a little effort and time.

So I have a 44' Toy hauler pulled by a duely. Distance front to back might be at its peak range. Was getting frame freezing a lot. My dealer is looking into it. But any known signal boosters to add?
I'm using the, Furrion vision plus. 7" screen. The system this video talks about. Just talked with my service center this morning and asked about a booster. They're going to look into it. I'll most likely get an answer quicker from RUclips vs my service center. Thank you all for your comments and videos.
I already had a backup camera on my motor home when I purchased it. If I want to change to the Infurion model you discussed, would all the wiring have to be changed?
The RV we had with the prewire had a female 3.5mm connection that the camera plugged into. Took about 10 minutes to install. Solid performance. We do have to turn the headlights on to send power to the backup camera.
Which back up camera are you using?

We bought Haloview for the back of our 5th wheel, it's flawless, has not lost signal one time and the image is great.

That’s actually pretty cool!

That's for sure, however ,I don't know if anything can make the drive through DFW less stressful :-)
Haloview. The image quality, signal strength and customer service impress me a lot.

All that matters is if you’re happy with it! Most brands do the same things.

That would be an awesome idea! Yes! Yes! Yes!
There are some TPMS units that pair through your phone…eliminating one display.
@@kevincameron8437 True, but man it would be nice to see a single unit with both data on it.
I believe the Ford backup camera on the trailer only works when backing up, and cannot be used while driving in traffic to see behind you.
That might take a pretty big monitor.

Need to have a local storage so you can use cameras as a security

I think the only thing you can do is add a booster. Most manufacturers sell one now and that should fix the freezing.

That may be a possibility. The one in the video uses a 3.5mm connector
@@NationalRVTrainingAcademy thank you for the update. I am going to pull out the manual and see what the specs are

Wel done sir.
Lol relationship building. 🤣
I thought no one caught that! Thank you 🙏🏻
