The episode ending with Jim Hendrix may have been the most appropriate and well-chosen of the lot and that is saying a lot. I remember literally applauding the end of episode 4 with Blue Oyster Cult.
This particular episode made it clear for me that 1899 is going to be no short of Dark. It gives me violent impulses thinking that Netflix cancelled it.
It was the creators of the series who did not renew the second season with Netflix, the explanation was that they had other projects to finish. I was devastated because this series is a masterpiece.
Uhm the transwarp bs device of the insect dude has no human language elements on it but just triangles. Like on the "new" telegraph device which was installed on the ships. The insect dude is future spooky kid with the black pyramid. It's all some weird psychological experiment happening in the future or a heavily advanced alternate dimension 1899.
Got that shiver of delight that you get what a great piece of music is paired with powerful visual images and sound effects. Thanks for posting.
This is where you know the makers know what they’re doing.
Many thanks!
Love the look on his face at the end...
That was a badass scene, I'm glad someone thought the same enough to make a youtube clip but show the build up!!

Rarely does a filmmaker or soundtrack engineer pair a song so well within the emotions of the scene at hand.
