Stipe was already done after eating the first few, and the final one was just the nail in the coffin. Originally his spinning back kick was ordinary, and you can see over the years he perfected the movement to the point now that he can generate extraordinary power. He does a jumping spinning back kick now, with more hip twist to generate power. I'm not sure I've seen any other MMA athlete do it exactly the way he does it, but it's effective.
