I know this is going to be butchered, but I always felt that poison ivy had good intentions but went about it the wrong way, and that could be a major plot point where Batman or whoever the protagonist is is dealing with poison ivy trying to do good in the wrong way because she's a kid who doesn't know better. If you're batman, it's making beneficial plants and better areas. If you're something like the suicide squad, it would be attacking the businesses that are actually causing harm to the planet instead of hurting and inconveniencing regular people that are trying to live live their lives just like the animals are.
There is a legitimate episode where she makes plant clones and actually gives up her life of crime and all that to lead a different life especially after learning she could never have kids. It's in the animated series - and it's believed that the Poison Ivy we see after that is a plant clone rather than Pamela herself.
And there are a few comics I think that touch on the fact that she didn't always intend to be a villain, but corporations were so corrupt Eco-Terrorism became her port of call because when she'd do the right thing, a corp came in right behind her and instantly undid all her work. Like she'd spend a lot of time on something, and in an hour it was gone. [think: planted useful plants in areas that need them, and making sure to protect a sacred plant, getting all the paperwork and some corp comes in and digs it all up then goes "oopsies" pays a fine and does whatever their destructive work is and all her work is undone and theirs still takes AGES to fight.]

With NASA, the reason why they need to do all these tests again to do the moonlanding is because NASA is no longer using tech and also did lose some tech used during the 60's/70's. Plus NASA does not make Saturn rockets anymore and have to test out the new ones to make sure it is all good.
Edit: to add a bit more, even if NASA used everything from the 60s, not allow it is going to be compatible with today's tech, and it would probably cost more to upgrade the stuff then to just make new stuff, or the new stuff can't fit or work with the old stuff. It would be like forcing an intel I7 into a PC from the 90s
yeah it happens all the time as technology changes, a lot of research and science gear needs to be translated to more modern formats, a lot of it, while is still functional, is often not used just because it would be incovinient in modern research operations. 22:50 I think this is in reference to the fact that we probably could not build another Saturn V rocket because the knowledge needed to build the engines for it has been lost as the engineers that built it with the know-how on how to build it are mostly dead by now, which is a great shame, but so is the march of time. Basically the point is that we could not recreate the Apollo missions today even if we wanted to at a reasonable cost and in a reasonable timeframe, nor would it be safe to do so (basically the apollo astronauts got really damn lucky when you compare solar flare dates with the moon landing mission launch and landing dates - if one had happened just a little earlier or later, the astronauts would have died). There’s no Soviet Union or real space race anymore, which is a good thing - sure it slows space exploration massively, but it also means that we aren’t throwing our smartest and brightest into rockets on extremely risky missions, instead taking the time to really make 100% sure that we know what they’ll be up against and that they’ll be ready for it.
it's not lost at all but it's insanely inefficient for modern standards and incredibly costly (and for that matter all rockets new and old are costly). with the end of the cold war there wasn't a meaningful competitor to the US in the space race nor a real reason to continue space exploration at the same rate since these bodies will literally be with us until the end of time, so NASA's budget is miniscule nowadays compared to what it once was.
essentially, the Saturn V is no longer useful, and even if it were it's not affordable. essentially what you said but with a minor correction that we didn't just lose the knowledge on how to build the engines- we still have blueprints and data- but rather it's pointless to do so anymore

I haven’t seen any of the trailers for Suicide Squad kill the Justice league because I choose to avoid anything about that game because I do not see it being successful. But from what I saw it looks like Poison Ivy is now a child, likely the byproduct of what happened in Arkham Knight.
