A doctor does not hope you get sick, nor does a dentist hope your teeth decay, most doctors and dentists have salaries, they don't pocket the money from appointments and surgery and such as far as I know.
A police officer does not hope anyone is a criminal, in fact, they'd hope for the opposite as it would mean less work for them, police officers work for a wage or a salary.
A teacher does not hope you're stupid, again, hourly wage/salary, it doesn't matter how much effort they put in, they get paid roughly the same.
Most of these jobs work off of salaries or wages, it does not matter to them how much business they get as long as the store or building stays in business and they get paid.
And the coffin makers don't care if you die or not, they sell them off to the coffin retailers most of the time, so either way they get their money.
The most edgy I ever got at 14 was making anti-Valentine's Day cards. I only made them for my friends. I then grew up to learn I'm aroace and get why Valentine's Day always felt so stupid to me.
Pro tip, You can devote Valentine's day to watch movies/a series/play a game/etc that you love.
I take valentine's day as an excuse to watch the extended edition of the lotr trilogy. Told my family that that's what I love and that I'd appreciate it if I wasn't bothered since I have a tight schedule, and they agree not to bother me too much.
So, yeah, I found a loophole to enjoy and look forward to valentine's day despite being aroace.

13:50, I can see the airport to wedding halls being correct easily. In the wedding halls, a couple generally only kisses once, and only the then married ones. When you have people flying for work often they'll probably kiss each other way more then once in the same airport. And that includes relationships with couples that will never result in marriage, couples that are already married and have kissed in the wedding halls prior, couples that will eventually marry but kissed before in an airport.
It's just that there are way more instances and opportunities that a sincere kiss happens in airports compared to weddings halls. So by sheer numbers alone, I can absolutely see that to be true

Regarding the birthday thing at 9:17 before social media, people wrote birthdays down in address books and put them on calendars. So the reminder was still there even though it wasn't digital. I'm sure a lot of doctors, especially in hospitals, get paid by the hour, not by the amount of people they help, and with the absolute ridiculous amount of overtime they all work, pretty sure they'd rather have more people healthy.
Same goes for the police, they can sit inside their car all day, eating donuts and get paid the same thing as when they chase down a robber or stop an armed criminal. Pretty sure, they prefer not to be faced with potentially dying on the job.
