Looked like lots of fun!🤙
Being an experienced sailor and cameraman, Scott definitely knew the best position to view and document the race. Love it!

How can you be over early on a 2000nm race? 😂
Does anyone know what kind of boat that giant black monohull that started off the pin end was? It was beautiful, loved the video!
The giant black boat is the Rio 100 (Sail number 2121), a Blakewell White 100 built in 2014 with a LOA of 100'. Owned and Skippered by Manouch Moshayedi out of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Club. They have a crew 0f 14.
"Bi-annual." You mean twice a year? Or do you mean "bi-ennial," once every two years?
I mean "bi-ennial", but i't's pronounced almost the same.
Might consider changing the name. Just sayin'.
