- This is the story of the 2019 Transpac told from the perspective of the boat "Gamble"
Gamble is a Schock 40' with a speckled past. Its sister ships were known for losing their keels but its design was ahead of its time and was passed down to generations of race boats around the world.
This is the story of how the boat brought together a crew and proved the world wrong by making it 2225 nm from Long Beach to Hawaii.
Please understand that the humor in this is meant to be tongue in cheek and no accusations of cheating are valid coming from Tail End Charlie.
