Thank young for saving the handmade Raggedy Ann!!! My grandmother made me a large one when I was a child (many moons ago 🥰) and I still love her so. She's filled with love. 💖 Great finds today!!
Greetings from Germany! I lol'ed a little when you picked up the beer stein from the "Munich brewery" and said:"...it has THAT on there..."! 😅 It may have come from the October fest once upon a time. 🍻 Prost 😉
Oh my goodness! Being stationed in Germany twice, I was thrilled to see the Munchen beer stein!!!!! I would love to buy it! I looked on your site & don't see it (yet). I know it's your choice if you keep it, but I wouldn't cover up the logo.
This stoneware beer mug is indeed from Germany, these mugs are still used in a famous brewhouse in Munich, Bavaria, as you can see on the print. Many German breweries/brewhouses have those mugs with their name on. Hugs from Germany!🤗
Hi! We were stationed in Bitburg '65-'68. The 2nd time '72-'73, they had dad down in Rimbach-no dependent housing-no schools for us, so they had us living in Amberg at an Army post. I loved it over there 🥰🥰
Love those 2 paintings!!!❤ You did a great job!! BTW if you curve one side of the round placemat to the middle and then curve the other side inward, you will have a cone! Can't you see that with greenery in it?
Julie... Things from the Bins do not get taken to the trash. It is sent to other stores, or donated or given to the homeless. Please spread the word so the rumor will stop. I read it on Home Made Vintage from a viewer of Daniells. Thanks🎉😅❤
I love that painting on the board! It reminds me of the old houses & barns up in the mountains, in the backwoods here in Tennessee! I love Raggedy Anns, i collected the old handmade ones back in the early 90's. Back then all sorts of handmade rag dolls were the big thing to collect. I collected tons of them, not just the Raggedy Anns. Then my mom started making them.. so you can imagine the load i had😄 You had a great haul today, really good pieces! Enjoyed for sure😊
The bins I go to they yell at everyone to get back while they are being changed. My friend and I call the bins "The Dive." Since we are diving in to find treasures. Lol thank you for always taking us. I don't get to go very often to where the one that is around me. It's so much fun!
Hey Julie! Regarding the paintings, I've seen where people put a light coating of brown glaze on paintings that are bright colored to help tone them down a bit and give it an aged look. The painting ended up looking incredible!! I have one that I'm going to try that technique with. Thought I'd share that idea just incase you'd like to try your hand at it. 😃👍 ps: I'm still loving all your videos on both channels! ❤ God bless!🥰
It was crazy. It was sooooo crowded and people would push into the lines. They were like a bunch of vultures. There wasn’t anything worth fighting that crowd for. I want to go to Julie’s bins 😂
With everything Goodwill are throwing in dumpsites, it is no longer viable to donate to them. Some of the stuff that remain , can still be looked over and they should lower some of their prices, after all they are supposed to be not profit outfits.
Well with the CEO and others earning a 6 figure income they have to keep raising prices. I have quit going to Goodwill and I won’t be donating because nothing good ever ends up on the shelves.
@@jadestone8552That's a popular rumor that isn't true. There is no CEO of Goodwill. You're referring to Goodwill, International, which is not the same. Each group of Goodwill stores has its own CEO. The senior staff makes less than they would elsewhere. I know that firsthand.
Goodwill IS a non-profit. The only things that end up in the landfill are broken, hazardous, soiled, or otherwise damaged goods. Anything and everything that can be recycled gets recycled. The stats are on their websites. A ton of the ripped clothing gets bundled and shipped to 3rd world countries to be made into new fabric. Goodwill was created to provide employment for those who might not otherwise find employment elsewhere, provide free job programs, and keep things out of the landfill.

I would have picked up the pig bookend even without its mate. Too cute.
I’m glad your going to make bread boards again 🥳🥳🥳🥳🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️😇
I can't believe you passed up Scrabble! Those wood letters are great for crafting!
I would have!
Not everyone crafts!
Love the paintings! I'm trying to stay away from the Bins until I get my stash under control, but the FOMO is real!
I loved the signed paintings.
Those paintings are beautiful! The colors just say, “happy”.

That makes me stressed too & sad also that they just trash everything in the bins 🥺
What happened to Barney? It was there and then not. Maybe you put it back, and I missed that. Love your channel Julie!
Just ❤❤❤your videos & how you rescue finds😉& I wish so much more could be saved from landfill - so wasteful 😢
Hofbrau beer is delish! Leave the mug as is.

You can make CUTE message cards with typewriter printed letters. And with rubber stamp embelishments or just plain
Those placemats are from England .. Pimpernel.. worth picking up for resale

I would have picked up the serger!! I’ve been looking for one but they’re so expensive!!
I found a server in my garage. Forgot I even bought it. Obviously I've never used it.

Love the paintings - hope the price stickers didn't damage them (from UK)
The green mugs with letters on them are from Anthropologie.
Nice finds!
Julie, you don't look old enough to have a child graduating... You got some great stuff.
Agree Julie looks too young to have a kid graduating
Nice haul...Yes you did good.
Julie,
That Japan piece is their answer to Europe’s Majolica
The paintings are great. Love your bracelet.
I really like the pictures you found! Those are amazing!! Thanks for sharing!!
Bang ! Bang ,well there’s a chip there too,
Full size and queen typically use the same size bed frame if you are referring to the metal frame. It expands.

Hi Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Girl, you would choke if you saw the bins in Houston, Tx 😮
Went to one in Austin. Like a war zone. I almost got knocked down. Mostly clothes. Few baskets for shoppers. Long lines.
It was crazy. It was sooooo crowded and people would push into the lines. They were like a bunch of vultures. There wasn’t anything worth fighting that crowd for. I want to go to Julie’s bins 😂
U need to take someone else with you to grab things as well, can always put stuff back if u don't want it, you did really good today huni
You did well, you are a good mom. Get my grammar correction? ❤
Leave the Christmas stuff!....just grab wood, metal stuff...😊
What happens when they dump the bins? Do they put it all in dumpsters in the back? If so I would go DD after hours lol
How do u film and look at the same time I really hope u let me know
You should make some oyster crosses. I know you wouldn’t be able to keep them in stock.
I would definitely buy one!
The square handled tray at 8:13 can be used for a cross stitch
Yes! There used to be several items similar to that you could cross-stitch or needlepoint on. I made several myself 😊😊
I’m going to donate to Savers now. No more goodwill. We are a wasteful society..😔
Please don't cut up placemats. Would make beautiful pillows. Great finds!
The green mugs were Anthropologie 😢
What happened to Barney did you put him back
The wicker tray looks like a Chinese colander.
❤❤❤

Do you know why Raggedy Ann was created?
💜🤍💚
I went to my Goodwill Bins and not impressed with what they had. Not much to choose from.
❤❤❤❤❤
