How to Remove Blank Key Knockouts

Hey there, today I'm going to demonstrate how to quickly and easily remove the knockout in your key. Maybe you just had some new blanks cut etc. and you're wondering how to fit your key onto a key ring? Don't worry, I've got you covered!
Required Supplies and Tools:
-Blank Keys (I got mine off eBay)
-Pointy tool aka an Awl
-Hammer

Ant Yep yeah, I was surprised these were as easy to knockout as they were, usually they already have the holes so I’ve never needed to do this in the past... when you decide on getting new keys, eBay has them for a good price!

Great video. If you have original keys I would not recommend knocking them out. They have a key code that helps with future key cutting. But feel free to it on copies.
Some places online can cut the key and send them to you pre cut if you have that knock out code handy.

You mean cut the key? I would take it to any locksmith that feels comfortable cutting a key, honestly most Ace hardware stores can do it and they’re very cheap and cut them well

@@1Brain4Wheels not here in my country. cant find any place that cuts the key. then there is the question of programming
