    How about from next year when PLAB gets replaced by UKMLA. Are EEA graduates still going to be exempt from taking the exam?
    It would seem kind of odd since even UK graduates are required to take it

      Interestingly, GMC has still not confirmed or denied what they will have to do. So it remains to be seen!

    Is cesr actually valued equal to cct in practise?
    I know in paper, they're both considered the same within uk, but supposing I get the cesr ( I'm a pathologist) and start looking for jobs, will I be struggling a lot to get a job ?

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  Год назад +1

      Yes it is. You'd have specialist registration regardless with GMC, and there would be no way to ascertain if it was via CCT or CESR.

      Can I start on CESR then switch to CCT? And if possible does the competency carry over?

    Thank you so much. # Roadtouk's impact is amazingly huge.
    I finished my undergraduate doctor of medicine and then did 12 months internship ( 3months of medicine, paeds, gyne obs and general surgery each) in Ethiopia.
    I then worked as general practitioner for 1 year and joined orthopedic surgery specialty training for 4 years in Ethiopia. I am working as Ortho surgeon for the past 3 years.
    I have started the road to UK.
    Can I get my CREST form signed off from here?
    I kindly would like to hear about this from you.

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  Год назад

      Yes, if you have done what the CREST form has asked for, it can be signed off from your home country.

      Substandard after passing the UK standardized exams? Sounds like you have an issue with the GMC then!
