Like in britain we call most sports shoes trainers instead of sneakers, because we train in them not sneak. Grass shoes are referred to as boots, or studs. We call astro turf shoes, astros. You have no clue, and I would probably trust this guy at British Hockey to know what he was on about.

just go onto the Hockey factory shop, under shoes it says "Astro shoes" not "hockey shoes", Go read up on your shoes
