Got to love the way tung oil gets into the wood and restores the natural beauty. Great work.

Thank you Kim! Apologies about the delay. Oil is an easy quick way of bringing out the beauty in a piece of wood. Wood is certainly good 👍😌

You must feel good after Restoration. Is just as much work, like build a new table. The finish is beautifull. Thanks for this Video

A beautiful table from Asia Pacific, teak or marabou perhaps. Stunning vintage piece. I have one similar.

Very interesting, the frame wood was certainly unique. Sands very nicely and looks beautiful with oil finishes. Does your one have the same mortise slots on the bottom?

An amazing find! I was trying to work out what kind of wood it was. Really fascinating video, thanks.

      Teak maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not a problem at all. Thank you for tuning in and watching 🙂 would be nice know what type of wood it is. Could definitely be teak, the sanding dust was very oily and clumpy which is what happens with teak.

Thank you! This one was from a customer who wanted it to be refinished. The owner had stained and varnished the top however, the finish was gummy and didn’t really adhere well.
