Very interesting, the frame wood was certainly unique. Sands very nicely and looks beautiful with oil finishes. Does your one have the same mortise slots on the bottom?
Maestro con questo restauro ti sei veramente superato, complimenti, colgo l'occasione per inviare a te , alla tua famiglia e ad Hans i più sinceri auguri di buon anno, alla prossima amico 👍👍👍👍👍👍🐱
Very very much appreciated buddy. As always thank you so much for tuning in and watching. Hans has been living up the festive season a bit too much 😂 I hope you and your family, and of course the beautiful stella have a cracking new year. See you on the next one buddy! 👍🙂😺
Not a problem at all. Thank you for tuning in and watching 🙂 would be nice know what type of wood it is. Could definitely be teak, the sanding dust was very oily and clumpy which is what happens with teak.
Thank you! This one was from a customer who wanted it to be refinished. The owner had stained and varnished the top however, the finish was gummy and didn’t really adhere well.
Got to love the way tung oil gets into the wood and restores the natural beauty. Great work.
Yup it’s a beautiful finish, smells nice too! Cheers mate 👍🙂

A beautiful table from Asia Pacific, teak or marabou perhaps. Stunning vintage piece. I have one similar.
