Definitely try to maintain your sense of self, your love for art, for embroidery, for diy as some Mums can struggle after birth (as well as Dads) so both of you please keep your other interests and ventures as you continue your journey
Its easy for your whole identity to become "expecting parents" or "new parents" and although theres nothing wrong with that at all, it can cause some severe mental health problems post-partum

Try H&M maternity. I had my last baby 3 years ago and the stuff is so comfortable. I now wear the maternity tops as sleep shirts

Girl your whole body changes during pregnancy. If I were you I would keep the jeans. The further along you get into your pregnancy the more comfy you will want to be.. I love the oversized jacket/ shirt.

I say definitely hold onto the bigger sized items like the jeans for example! I was a size 8 before getting pregnant and I’m in my third trimester at a size 12. Those baggier clothes will definitely fit later on and you will find yourself buying bigger clothes anyways to fit the new body.

Keep the jeans... They look great but not only that they will be a saviour when you get bigger and more uncomfortable. You won't even care how things look as long as you're comfortable in the later stages 😂 you won't regret it x

I can relate to this soooo much haha, now 23 weeks and the clothes look sooooo much better now 😂 there’s definitely a strange stage where you definitely have a bump and therefore can’t really wear normal clothes, but the maternity stuff is too big still 🙄😫 Give it a few more weeks and it will all look better and make more sense haha. That jacket was definitely the winner though 😍😍

I didn’t buy many maternity clothes. I think I bought one comfy maternity outfit from ASOS then I bought long dresses from Zara in one size up but because they’re flowy anyway I can still get away with them now postpartum. They were the absolute comfiest thing to wear once I got bigger!

If you soak the the hooded jumper in plenty of clothes conditioner it should come out a lot softer 💕💕

Girl I’m almost 28 weeks with my little boy and I’ve not needed to venture into maternity clothes yet, but I most definitely need to get buying now my regular clothes just aren’t cutting it, taking so many pieces from this 😅 congratulations! Currently 30 weeks with our IVF baby. I’m dreading everyone saying to him ooh we know what your mum and dad got up to over lockdown. When it took us 2 years to finally get him. I’m now going to have a look on ASOS for that checkard coat. Ps keep the Jeans you will wake up one day and wonder where the bump camp from and why nothing fits. Believe me I’m in that boat. H&M do great skinny maternity jeans xx

For coats you can buy a piece that zips to both sides and makes it bigger!! So you can wear your fave coats and still zip them up x
