Just finished watching it. Kinda feels it hit our home. A father who cares more about his ego than his own children, neglects them (in one way or another) and somewhat expects them to think he is a great father.
The character played by Dustin Hoffman is a monster - if my father was like that I’d challenge him massively and if he couldn’t hear it I’d stay out of his life.
Really well written film and totally believable script. Amazing performances from both Sandler and Stiller as well as Hoffman whose character was super hard to tolerate so, well done all of you.
Everyone thinking this is "just another Adam Sandler comedy", when it has been said that this is one of the best, if not THE best performance Sandler has done in all of his career.
His best performance to date has definitely been Punch Drunk Love. I'm willing to believe he may be better in this movie but he just looks really sedated in this trailer
Sandler has proven several times he can bring it when he's with a good director and a good script. I think he's absolutely fantastic (when he wants to be, which isn't too often.)
sadly the film is mega boring i dont recommend it i nearly fell asleep so many times even after i had woken up of 12 hours, coz i watched 35 minutes of it b4 going to bed
@@stanimirborov3765 well, if you are not into comedy-dramas about real life situations, then this kind of movie will always be boring for you. And ofc, you probably watched it during nighttime.
@@stanimirborov3765 Why did you find the film boring? It's literally one of Baumbach's best films and Adam Sandler's second best performance, the first one being Punch Drunk-Love.
@@petarvstanic2233 idk it must be one of those uk/cowboy wests/american-like style movies where they focus on some weird talking thats only relative to the native people living there n some europeans wont get the humouir if i remember it correctly. watched it in 2020
Great film. Classic Baumbachian dry humour, with the occasional joke that makes you burst out in fits of laughter .Stiller and Sandler are awesome in it. Sandler, especially, is made for dramas like this.
For myself, I found the film very satisfying.Excellent acting by Adam Sandler. Thoroughly enjoyable. And believable. Watched with boxxy software as usual and it was great time!
This looks great. I hope it ends up being Adam Sandler's comeback since he hasn't made a good movie in like a decade. Edit: I forgot to add that Noah Baumbach is a very good director which makes me even more excited for this.
Apparently the granddaughter discovers the lost work of Dustin Hoffman's character on her college, or so does Wikipedia says, I had to check it because I didn't get it either.
This is dangerously close to an Adam Sandler movie that I might honestly consider thinking about pondering the possibility of maybe debating whether or not to watch.
Little late, but the correlation is not far of. The director Noah Baumbach has worked twice with Wes Anderson co writting the script for Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Fantastic Mr Fox.
SPOILERS * the grandfather died. earlier in the movie it's explained that one of his favorite artworks was lost in a museum. the grandaughter finally found his work. which was in the box.
Will watch it until i get bored but not seeing the attraction to this. BIG actors in a boring everyday drama? I like Ben Stiller and respect how he stays in great shape for his movies.
+The New Captain The fact that your comment has only 11 thumbs ups is the sad proof that New World Order and it's bloody correctness hysteria has done severe damage to people's sense of dark humour
May not relate to this channels content but there is this RUclips channel which is all about story telling from across the world, which I like to recommend. Go seek "Rare Earth".

Same
Same
Glad you gave some explanation because I had no idea what it was about by watching this trailer
The character played by Dustin Hoffman is a monster - if my father was like that I’d challenge him massively and if he couldn’t hear it I’d stay out of his life.
What? Okay I understand but for me was a movie of love but I can see clearly what you say what you wrote.
Really well written film and totally believable script. Amazing performances from both Sandler and Stiller as well as Hoffman whose character was super hard to tolerate so, well done all of you.
Ok 😊

Jorge Ordorica which isn't saying much
Sandler and Stiller together? Nice, can't wait.
Kal El what did you think?

I hope Adam Sandler can receive a potential Oscar nomination soon. He's really incredible in dramas.
there were like 5 too many jews in this trailer alone
How about an independent spirits award?
dramas are booo0o0o0o0ring
@@stanimirborov3765 what a shame
He is a terrible actor
I loveeeeeeeed this. All the characters were perfectly disfunctional and it really sucked me in. Awesome film.
That's some great limp acting from Sandler, 10/10 Academy Award winning
This film is a masterpiece that made me cry. I don’t know how you guys hate Adam Sandler…
Thank you I will watch this film
I never gave permission to them for using my last name in this movie!
Woah.....
your last name is not copy righted that's like saying every movie that says morgan in it i can sue
chris morgan He was being sarcastic. Its a joke.
It's so nice to see Adam Sandler in (what looks to be) a great movie again.
Great film. Classic Baumbachian dry humour, with the occasional joke that makes you burst out in fits of laughter .Stiller and Sandler are awesome in it. Sandler, especially, is made for dramas like this.
An amazing character study movie with wonderful acting from everyone, especially Adam Sandler, this movie is worth watching all the way through.
Fantastic film. I spent the majority of it wanting to punch Dustin Hoffman's character. Such fine performances from the whole cast.
Seeing Adam Sandler on something like this is frustrating. He is so damn good in this! Why can’t he do great things like this more often?
He just did with uncut gems, great movie and performance, hopefully he keeps it up with some more serious movies instead of strictly comedies
Uncut gems
I'm thankful they didn't use Owen Wilson or Rob Schneider.
Underated comment ay the time
Please don’t put those two in the same sentence. Wilson is actually good.
@@domewing6252 thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that.
This movie filled my heart with love 💗 It is like a warming hug.
Where has this Sandler been!?? Geez his performance was so great in this. Why doesn’t he do this more often? He was so so great in this.
anyone here after watching marriage story?
Yessssssss
If you haven't you should check Frances Ha and The Squid and the Whale.
For myself, I found the film very satisfying.Excellent acting by Adam Sandler. Thoroughly enjoyable. And believable. Watched with boxxy software as usual and it was great time!
I just watched it and what an emotional journey. Awesome film truly.
I did not expect this to become one of my favorite movies and an Adam Sandler classic!
This looks great. I hope it ends up being Adam Sandler's comeback since he hasn't made a good movie in like a decade.
Edit: I forgot to add that Noah Baumbach is a very good director which makes me even more excited for this.
Jake The Snake The Ridiculous 6 is my favorite movie
the do over is also great
both of those replies are literally terrible movies
Adam Sandler in dramas is perfect, so yeah i'll watch it.
I can’t believe Ben Stiller wasn’t nominated at all for this movie and brad’s status, he was amazing in both
Before y'all make adam Sandler jokes, apparently this movie is really fucking good
Because it's 5 other people who's actually funny in it.
William Edmondson actually most critics would agree that Adam Sandler carries the film with the best performance of his lifetime
@TheFlickinCritic
You tell 'em! Collaborating with right filmmakers reshapes one's career!
InfraBren bren, I want more sex noises in a library!!!! Please!
And he was really good at this
This is going to be movie of the year!
Debatable!
NO
this looks like it was filmed in the 90s.
thats not a bad thing
It's filmed on 16mm, which has a film-grain kinda look.
I remember watching this right when it came to Netflix, I loved it but forgot the name and nobody talked about it so it took me a while to find it
I love Noah Baumbach movies.
My two favorite comedians from the 90s and early 2000
I like while we are young movie and I like the director Noah. He has unique film making. Simple theme simple film making and good storytelling.
That’s what a movie looks like and that’s what the acting is...
I just watched this and enjoyed it, but didn't understand the last scene of the movie. Can someone help?
Apparently the granddaughter discovers the lost work of Dustin Hoffman's character on her college, or so does Wikipedia says, I had to check it because I didn't get it either.
Have a feeling Sandler will be nominated for some big award
Maybe a wedding cake
+Top Mop He won a Hollywood Comedy Award, how about that ?
This looks great! First DiCaprio got his oscar, and now it's time for Sandler!!
Dustin hoffman looks straight outta that goodfellas painting!
Lmao
Despite marketing this is not an Adam Sandler movie, its a Noah Baumbach movie.
Meet the Fockers 2
Sam Elderkin 4 actually
but with more jews
Great stuff, just great. BRAVO
The fight scene is like arrested development
Such a poorly cut trailer for such a master piece 😭
Hoffman looks like the prime minister of India.
This looks so weird, it's like real footage someone took inside Hollywood since they all are famous actors and actresses lol
This is dangerously close to an Adam Sandler movie that I might honestly consider thinking about pondering the possibility of maybe debating whether or not to watch.
deserved an oscar! Even ben stiller is good in this movie
This and Uncut Gems have completely solidified Sandler's career imo B)
Noah Baumbach is fucking good at doing dysfunctional family drama
Such a good movie
The awkwardness of 'This is Where I leave you'
Having very little Wes Anderson vibes
Also... the Kinks. Anderson LOVES the Kinks.
Little late, but the correlation is not far of. The director Noah Baumbach has worked twice with Wes Anderson co writting the script for Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Fantastic Mr Fox.
song? The Kinks, Where Have All The Good Times Gone
Before anyone criticises Sandler, let me tell you that this movie currently has a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
I love the title Yeh Din Ka Kissa
I miss The Kinks.. Are they still around? I love how the movie made their music its trailer song.
I really want to see this.
What song was playing in this trailer?
Are we just gonna ignore how gorgeous Grace is?
Meet The Fockers 12 : Part One (Netflix Special)
Best movie of the year
This might actually be a really good movie with Adam Sandler in a very long time
SO EXCITED
What was that wooden box at the end of the movie about?
SPOILERS *
the grandfather died. earlier in the movie it's explained that one of his favorite artworks was lost in a museum. the grandaughter finally found his work. which was in the box.
This is the first time Adam has been good. I think he should star in other peoples movies instead of his own.
but they would be less money for him, thats most likely why, and he does just he's lazy and wants a easy paycheck
Song?
Kinks, Where have all the good times gone.
Can anyone explain the ending of this movie to me please?
Ben Stiller and Dustin Hoffman together since Meet the Fockers
Alguien sabe como se llama la canción que la hija de sandler reproduce en su teléfono en la parte 1.09 de la película?
Adam Sandler cursing is crazy lol
Oh my god I love Emma Thompson so much
Potterhead
This looks good
Very nice trailer.. 👍
What song?
looks hysterical.
Looks fantastic! Always happy to see a new Baumbach film
Still don't know what the story is about other than family shenanigans.
Jewish shenanigans
The best kind
Katz Deli: Origins
Amazing

Why does it hurt when I pee?
Looks good
$35 for a salad! I would have lost it.
Pretty sure he said salmon.
I don't think Sandlers movies are as good as they were when he was younger. I used to LOVE his movies, now I can't even watch them.
Cool Van Halen cover
Some of the scenes in the movie are very Wes Andersonesque
Can u please upload another stranger things season 2 trailer?
Polly Mahone it's literally a month away ur fine
Why?
Lol they already have
Who was this made for?
Love Ben Stiller movies
I thought that was Donald Sutherland lol
1:36 a Marvel movie hehehe
Saw this on Netflix. It's like an imitation of a real movie. Modern content is strange.
B W how so?
This film looks like a Woody Allen film
its weird this trailer emphasizes running so much. I didnt think running was a big part of this film
Can't wait to see this movie
Mmm I don't know I'm on the fence with this one
havn't seen this many jews in one place since ww2
If I wanted to see rich jews congregating I would rather drive down to Boca.
+The New Captain The fact that your comment has only 11 thumbs ups is the sad proof that New World Order and it's bloody correctness hysteria has done severe damage to people's sense of dark humour
if king without a crown is not being ironic there is no reality

That's a lot of running.............
very nice and cool
I want Adam Sandler to help make this a good movie
Even if this is a good movie, I have watched this trailer 3+ times and I still do not know what this movie is about
I liked the movie but not the trailer
The synopsis is the adult children of Harold Meyerowitz reunite in New York for the prospective of their father’s career retrospective.
