I love the rebound relationship reveal. It just really humanizes Caitlyn. It makes sense that she would be looking for comfort even if mostly physical. Although the jokes about Caitlyn doing the usual dictator thing and having a mistress are very funny.
There's been BTS notes and stuff being shared after the show finished, and one of them mentioned that Caitlyn went through a phase of trying to do things that she thought her mother would have approved of, and her relationship with Maddie was part of that.
@ look as much as i love bonus content. When it comes to being a media critic the text matters. If it isn’t in the text you cannot expect people to know about it. With any franchise/media but in particular adaptation. I get that caitlyn was probably trying to live up to her mother’s legacy. The show is cut at two seasons for some stupid reason. We do not have time for this and as such it is not definitive in the text. A reasonable interpretation of the text could be she wants to do things her mother would approve of. Another reading is she las lost her grip and is doing things she and her mother would not approve of in most circumstances. What i mean is bonus content is fun but it is not a trump card in media interpretation.
This season made me cry so so so very much. I actually had a headache at one point from all the crying. I'm an emotional guy, but this degree was a first.
I can't remember If I suspected who Singed was working on at the time, but regardless, when Warwick recognized her bomb design, her image then flashes in his eyes, and he says "Powder" it still hit like a truck.
I believe that releasing Warwick was just the next experiment in Singed's science project. He didn't know exactly what would happen, and that was the point of it: to discover what would happen. To obtain new data and see how effective Warwick's regenerative powers were at his current stage of development. The importance of that becomes more apparent in the next episode.
I was initially surprised when Cait was pushing back on Ambessa instigating violence. But since it’s been at least a few months since Act 1 (Amanda said they mentioned 3-6 months but they never really made it specific) I think she’s just had enough distance from Cass dying that it’s not as raw and blinding. So while she’s still very much on the wrong path, her reactions aren’t as immediate. Plus Maddie seems to have been… ahem putting in overtime to kind of steer her away from Ambessa. A dangerous ploy but hey desperate times. Have I mentioned I love the Jinx Sevika dynamic. Because I do. I really really do. They bounce off each other so well. Ella absolutely killed it this episode, Jinx’s “talk” with Silco about made me cry. He’s finally here.
🎉 Another amazing reaction video! I appreciate you showing us your true emotions, it feels like your sitting down with a friend to enjoy the episode. It took a while during your conclusion, but you finally did say Vander 😊 Perhaps Singed took those parts from the wolf/ wolves to create Warwick and that’s why he had two different colored eyes. Definitely an exciting episode! Can’t wait to see your next reaction video for this series! 😃
I know nothing of the LoL universe outside of this series. So, when the monster (who I now know as Warwick, because they never actually say that name here, from what I can recall) says "Powder", I was completely shocked! I thought, "OMG! Is that their dad, or foster dad from the first season?!? Who is that!?!" (I didn't remember his name until they mention it later). Thankfully I could watch the next episode right away or that would have been one hell of a cliffhanger.
36:23 it was the biggest fan theory going from game knowledge. Still shocking, but there was enough foreshadowing, especially if you ever heard the interactions in game which were only added to fit with Arcane. Now if you catch the other character you will be seeing eh soonish, that one came out of left field for a lot of us, but yet another huge fan theory that ended up being right. You have to know some deeper game lore for that one though. They truly were masters at hiding some of the lore in season 1.
The 'Mesh thingy' that Jayce, Heimer and Ekko, disappeared into, is possibly a Wild Rune. If you recall the scene in episode five season one, Viktor coughs up some blood , some of which hits the railing, but on closer inspection some makes it's way to the floor of the hexgate. Fast forward to when the trio shows up, Heimer looks at the one spot on the floor... I wouldn't put it passed the writers that there is a connection there.
Poor Jinx. Half the undercity is dying their hair blue and dressing like her so now nobody recognises the real thing when it's right in front of them. Reminds me of the time Dolly Parton entered a Dolly Parton look-alike contest, and actually lost.
@@dargron7614 I think the story was Charlie Chaplin entering in a Charlie Chaplin look alike contest and getting third place. But, I could be wrong and both could have happened.
@@DanielS2001 I've heard both. There's also the story of Rowan Atkinson being told "he looks like that Mr. Bean" and being unable to convince the person that he is actually Mr Bean. It's wild that this is a such a human thing to do.
been thinking about the scene with jinx talking to Silco in his office. her psychosis manifests as hearing the voices of those she has lost. the fact she hasn't heard Silco is probably very distressing for her.
To be fair, no one ACTUALLY knew Warwick was Vander until this episode. But we knew Warwick existed from the game and the clues and hints were plentiful enough that the theory basically became a forgone conclusion. And then this episode came and it was all confirmed
I did not know that Warwick was Vander, but when he said Powder? I screamed “Oh lord that’s Vander!!!” - I think you’re meant to figure out in that moment who Warwick was made from.
Singed had Vander's body hanging in his lab at the end of S1, something I only learned from comment sections after this came out. Went back and checked and yup, he's there.
You're the ONLY reactor I've seen touch on how Ambessa though from a warmonger society, is driven by not just legacy and conquest but the love of her children vengeance for what happened to Kino and the need to protect her babygirl Melanthia, everyone either writes her off as a one note evil psychopath and it's very disappointing, but not surprising tbh
I'd say Warwick colours are like big daddies from Bioshock. Green for friendly, yellow neutral (tho I don't think he he has that mood) and red for hostility.
You'd think this show couldn't possibly break you down any further and they just stack it all right on top of a soggy sobbing mess. I started crying pre-emptively before you just expecting to cry with you when something happens that's epic. I cannot wait to see what arc of story they do next in this universe. Piltover and Zaun happen so very late in so much of the historic lore of this world/ip.
Up until that point in the prison, Jinx had never really done anything for anyone else, beyond Silco, it was always him and her and while no doubt she'd been seen around enough, we saw how others reacted around her as the unhinged 'daughter' of Silco. For the first time she got to feel the appreciation of people, raw and pure in that moment.
It's not that Jayce didn't care what happened to Zaun. He does. He just didn't realize that was happening. Its literally clear it wasn't since he only just realized how the leakage was even getting underground.
In the game, we have never known the name of the old hero of warwick. Warwick is composed of an old unknown hero and magic wolf body by singed. Singed failed his experience and threw away the body of warwick in garbage. In the garbage with his regeneration ability, Warwick survived but lost his memory. Since that he wandered.
in the guard that saw Jinx defense... there have been so many people with blue hair, there could've been a couple copycat/lookalike on the loose too...
yea the whole jail fight scene mirrors the story VI told cait in season 1 about pretending to be monsters and she had to chase the monsters away but VI didnt, but Jinx stayed and fought the monster to protect isha.
Don't feel too bad about already knowing who Singed was experimenting on, as his body was pretty clearly shown hanging up in Singed's lab at the end of season 1.
Warwick was red cause he was hunting blood. He has a bloodlust ability to hunt blood making him see red. When singed cut his hand and dropped blood the people who played the game knew what was coming lol
14:23 No she did not. 15:07 Also to make note there has been a 6-9 month time skip around this point so Jinx has been hanging around Isha a while, so they already have this family bond. 20:03 I don't know if you caught Scar (bat guy, Ekko's right hand/friend) giving Jinx a nod of like respect, there but its a step up because he did try to take her head 23:23 I hate Singed man ...😐
These last years I've been picky on watching series, due to being disappointed by getting canceled in between, or underwhelming ending/finale, but Arcane's writing/art/animation team did a phenomenal work. Can't wait for the rest of the episodes reaction!
While yes Isha comes across like a young powered and we are supposed to see that. She also comes across like a young vi. Her physical skills. She isn’t a well trained fighter but she will fling herself into fight where powder ran. Powder looks a lot like their mom. I wonder is on some level Junks sees herself as also taking care of a younger vi. She is having to come to terms with all Vi did for her and this kid does have some of vi’s attitude, at least pre parent deaths. Whether or not she is aware of it she is getting to know vi better.
I tried not to skip to the end, I really did; but I wanted to see the tears. Ironically, the enforcer they knocked out for her uniform, probably survived the whole mess.
The tree was hidden and no one but the firelights knew about it. Why would Jayce be worried that the Hexgate core would be effecting it if he didnt know it existed?
It’s not just the tree, he put the gate/mesh were it could hidden from Piltover but harm Zaun. It’s like dumping radioactive waste in a river and not caring that it hurts those down stream.
@@funnylilgalreacts Except, according to all the testing and research results Jayce and Viktor did, there's no "radiation", no residue, no runoff, no byproducts from hextech. The only reason the hextech accelerator is that deep underground is to keep it away from sabotage or takeover. Jayce and Viktor created clean free energy with hextech, and the machine ran perfectly with no visible or measurable problems. The machine was fine for ten years, until it wasn't. Not to add salt to the wound, but there is one word that Isha says the whole season, and it’s when she’s being carried away from the fight. She’s reaching to Jinx and screaming “mama.”
@@funnylilgalreacts Please don't listen to them. Isha absolutely 100000% DOES NOT say that. The girl is non-verbal. She didn't make a secret wish and get to say one word during a traumatic moment in the show. For anyone in doubt about this turn the freaking subtitles on during that whole episode. Everyone has their dialogue attributed to them appropriately, even Warwick who was never audibly named in the episode, I might add. When you get to the scene where Sevika is carrying Isha away from that slaughter fest in the prison the subtitle reads: Isha "screams". She cannot speak. She's mute. Non-verbal. She even has trouble distinguishing sounds that she hears. But like many kids in real life who are stricken dumb she can make guttural sounds and other audible utterances. In fact she's been doing that the ENTIRE SHOW. But you know what else she's been doing? She's been using rudimentary SIGN LANGUAGE to communicate too. Go back and watch. A RUclipsr that works with deaf and non-verbal kids did a whole video about this. It's almost certain that the girl had never heard speech that she can clearly discern before. She can probably hear, but not effectively enough to distinguish language the way a person who has normal hearing would be able to. There's evidence for that in her behavior when interacting with people all throughout the show. So, no, she didn't say "mama", because even within the context of their relationship Isha doesn't view Jinx as her "mother", but more like an older sister and certainly the greatest compatriot she will ever have. The dynamic between parents and children is way different than their dynamic. Silco to Jinx? Father and daughter. Jinx to Isha big sister to little sister.
Unless you are the creator/producer/VA for Isha, then that’s a beautiful story you’ve created for your image of her. I appreciate your dedication to your personal backstory of her condition. If you are in fact the creator of the character, then I’ll zip my lip and admit I’m wrong. Otherwise, I implore you to go back and break down that scene and listen for yourself like I have many times. I’m sure you’re aware that it’s not uncommon for a traumatic moment to change a character’s actions/conditions in these kinds of shows. I hope you can see what myself and many others have heard in that scene.
@@kodiakcarnage (sigh) People like to see and hear what they want to see and hear, regardless of all the evidence to the contrary. This alone will destroy you're entire argument. Netflix provides subtitles for the hearing impaired. That's so deaf people who can't hear can watch and understand the show and most importantly recognize the CHARACTER'S DIALOGUE. If Isha said what YOU claim she said, then why in the world do the subtitles at that very moment only indicate that she "screams" and not that she spoke her first words in the entire show??? So, you're going to tell me that a girl who doesn't speak and who has trouble hearing on the show says something that impactful and profound and the show-runners, writers, Riot and Netflix all somehow manage NOT to include that majorly significant dialogue in the subtitles so that real-life people with a hearing impairment wouldn't get to experience what all the able bodied people in the world could "clearly" hear, when nobody else's dialogue in the entire 2 seasons of the show is left out of the subtitles? 🙄 Reconcile that or just admit that you are "hearing" what you want to hear and not what the show is actually presenting to you.
I hated that in ep3, one moment they have this beautiful and vulnerable kiss as Cait promises she won't change and then literally 5 minutes later, "Cait! What is wrong with you?!" I mean, we knew she has already changed but I still think the turnaround happened way too quick.
You're definitely supposed to know from that scene that Warwick is Vander, there's no ambiguity about why he would recognize her as Powder. League lore fans figured it out after season 1, but I'm glad you weren't spoiled that moment of realization.
Also Ambessa WASNT manipulating Caitlyn in that scene, watch it again then imagine she's talking about losing her son and the vengeance she can't let go off because they took him from her and that scene makes soooo much more sense

Awww thank you 🥹 Emotional™️ Gals Unite ✊🏼(and cry together)
Thanks for another great reaction. Looking forward to the next ones to this amazing show.
11:40 this is the most Rictus thirst I've seen but it's totally earned
Yesss, weep. WEEP LIKE WE DID!!!
Angela sporting a ring these days. Someone finally scooped her up...congrats
22:23 "mama..."
Hon im thankful for your genuine reactions. You and me both had the same reaction to Vander.
Yes! Been waiting for this!!! I love your reactions so much! So excited Severance is coming soon, too! Woo!! Btw, I love your new set up! Very nice 👍🏽
I am so excited for season two! Glad to see you back!
@funnylilgalreacts thanks! Life got crazy there for a min, but things are great now 😁
I know nothing of the LoL universe outside of this series.
"What's wrong with my pants?!"
@@AmazingChi Nice! XD
33:08 "I'm not that crazy!" - Jinx
I cry every time Jinx frees Isha it's so sweet and sad
been thinking about the scene with jinx talking to Silco in his office. her psychosis manifests as hearing the voices of those she has lost. the fact she hasn't heard Silco is probably very distressing for her.
To be fair, no one ACTUALLY knew Warwick was Vander until this episode. But we knew Warwick existed from the game and the clues and hints were plentiful enough that the theory basically became a forgone conclusion. And then this episode came and it was all confirmed
so excited i'm on the same pace as Angela (per her uploads)... time to watch 2x5 before her next upload.
Words of wisdom from someone who is far from wise. Have tissues ready for episode 6. It hit me harder than season 1 episode 3 did.
Yup. I don't cry at movies and such often, but episode 6 DESTROYED me. I was full on sobbing by the time the credits rolled
11:36 Jinx did that in a cave with a box of scraps.
Warwick's design is pretty good but his face doesn't look entirely wolflike but seeing him in action made this episode awesome!
That's intentional. It's so we can see a little bit of Vander in his face.
@@charlestonjew7587 oh ok, that makes more sense 👍
2:11 GLORIOUS EVOLUTION!
14:53 Sheesh, she's not THAT crazy.
Was ich von Netflix gelernt habe: Die komplette Serie bingen sonst wird man von youtube und webseiten gespoilert.
was hat das mit Netflix zu tun? Passiert mit allen Serien, vor allem Anime, haha.
"This next episode is about to be a banger" It's probably my favorite in whole show now ye
The nonverbal heavy metal when he bust through the door chef's kiss.
Idk if you notice but when Sevica takes Isha to save her, she screams mama to jinks
Finally, the best scene of this whole series. '...Powder'. Can't wait for the 'What are you waiting for?! He's....' scene now.
We are powering through sis 😂😭😂😭😂😭
In the game, we have never known the name of the old hero of warwick. Warwick is composed of an old unknown hero and magic wolf body by singed. Singed failed his experience and threw away the body of warwick in garbage. In the garbage with his regeneration ability, Warwick survived but lost his memory. Since that he wandered.
Boy you're in for a heck of a week
warwick wasn't absorbing the hextech, he was nearly instantly healing from the shots. in the game he has a lot of lifesteal.
in the guard that saw Jinx defense... there have been so many people with blue hair, there could've been a couple copycat/lookalike on the loose too...
Necesito la reaccion del capitulo 5 ya !!!
Van a haber lagrimas, ya te lo digo, no he llorado tanto con una serie como con esta
Grab the tissues. We gonna go on a "feels" trip.
yea the whole jail fight scene mirrors the story VI told cait in season 1 about pretending to be monsters and she had to chase the monsters away but VI didnt, but Jinx stayed and fought the monster to protect isha.
My only advice for my mother on starting this series was having a huge box of tissues handy.
Don't feel too bad about already knowing who Singed was experimenting on, as his body was pretty clearly shown hanging up in Singed's lab at the end of season 1.
When's the next Farscape vid?
probably friday
Fun fact! Bobby Pins have not been invented in Piltover! (I'm kidding but maybe they really haven't lol)
watching your Arcane reactions you should change it from funnylilgal to sadlilgal lol
Singed comforting Isha is a weirdly sweet moment. Them being carted away barely able to move reminded me of holocaust imagery
20:03 I don't know if you caught Scar (bat guy, Ekko's right hand/friend) giving Jinx a nod of like respect, there but its a step up because he did try to take her head
23:23 I hate Singed man ...😐
These last years I've been picky on watching series, due to being disappointed by getting canceled in between, or underwhelming ending/finale, but Arcane's writing/art/animation team did a phenomenal work.
Can't wait for the rest of the episodes reaction!
Please save comments like this for the finale, just to avoid spoiling anything, even if it’s just opinions about pacing
@ edited 👍
More like cryinLilGal reacts... but seriouly i bawled too when i saw that. This show hurts my soul in the best possible way.
I don't check my water heater every day or week to make sure it isn't evolving to try to take over the world. If you told me my air conditioner was secretly Skynet and poisoning the guy down the street, I'd be a little weirded out and doubtful.
But you don't put you very powerful water heater in your neighbor house. If something happens to it, it hurts them more than it hurts you.
@@funnylilgalreacts i mean Jayce explains that the core is miles away from the fissures
@@ImpeccableZentertainmentTo which Ekko fires back that it's still built within the utility ducts that carry Zaun's water and ventilation. If something went wrong, the Undercity would still be negatively impacted in a way Jayce didn't think about.
Also, spoiler-free warning - basically have tissues nearby for the rest of the season.
The paradox is Jinx caring for Isha more like Vander cared for them and Vi cared for Powder more like Silco cared for Jinx
Not to add salt to the wound, but there is one word that Isha says the whole season, and it’s when she’s being carried away from the fight. She’s reaching to Jinx and screaming “mama.”
😳
Nice. Didn't even catch that and I've seen the scene twice.
Reconcile that or just admit that you are "hearing" what you want to hear and not what the show is actually presenting to you.
Every episode from here on out is 10/10 ❤ Prepare the Kleenex! Ha 😊
Man next episode is gonna wreck you!
'Sup, monstera. Lookin' good. ❤
Watching people getting fucked up by Arcane is my guilty pleasure 😂
Vi was right...everyone in her life has indeed changed...
I hated that in ep3, one moment they have this beautiful and vulnerable kiss as Cait promises she won't change and then literally 5 minutes later, "Cait! What is wrong with you?!"
I mean, we knew she has already changed but I still think the turnaround happened way too quick.
@@charlestonjew7587 Cait: "I won't" meant she won't promise rather than won't change.

Dude you are going to lose it episode 5… I definitely did.
You're definitely supposed to know from that scene that Warwick is Vander, there's no ambiguity about why he would recognize her as Powder. League lore fans figured it out after season 1, but I'm glad you weren't spoiled that moment of realization.
act 2 is pure devastation luv. glorious devastation. see you on the other side.. :(
crazy amount of ads. like every 5 mins. other than that, loving the reaction series
still no farscape
Also Ambessa WASNT manipulating Caitlyn in that scene, watch it again then imagine she's talking about losing her son and the vengeance she can't let go off because they took him from her and that scene makes soooo much more sense
Ambessa has never been not manipulative.
