With James Bond flick 'No Time To Die' facing its third delay, we’ve decided, whilst leading up to the film’s eventual release, to take a look at the history of the spy genre. For this list, we’re looking at the 10 best classic spy films. Our definition of classic for this list is any film made prior to 1990. Great list. "From Russia with Love" is notable for the plot that would even impress le Carre, and the inclusion of Robert Shaw.

The Russia House (1990), with Sean Connery and Michelle Pfeiffer and the french film L,affaire Farewell (20**) both deserves a place, in my oppinion, at less on honorable mentions, in both lists about spy,s films and cold war,s films.

I never got North By Northwest. It should have been West by West North to end up in a President's Nose. By the title North By Northwest would have ended in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, Canada. Don't get mad people. It's a joke.
