I had honestly forgotten that lunar was coming out. So many great games to keep up with! But what I am most excited about currently is the trails remake coming out at the end of the year.
Really great list! As a massive Trails fan I'm excited for Daybreak 2 to come out on Valentines Day. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 looks incredible and the enemies shown in the trailer looks like enemies in Bloodborne and Elden Ring
Pokemon Legends Arceus was a such needed change of pace and after Scarlett and Violets rough launch it does seem like PLZ was given more time to be made. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has an interesting story, but what really draws me to it is how absolutely stunning it is. It certain rivals games like Final Fantasy.
The ones I'm most interested in are Trails through Daybreak II (I've been a fan of the Legend of Heroes series since I played the first game on a childhood friend's TG-16), Suikoden I and II (Two of my top three favorites from one of my favorite JRPG franchises), Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (I love both styles of Like/ a Dragon/Yakuza game and Majima is one of my favorite characters. Plus I love Pirates, and RPGs where the player characters have access to armed ships and we actually get to control them in battle instead of ship combat being limited to cutscenes)
In addition to a number on your list and battling my backlog (who isn’t;) looking forward to Ys Memoire: Oath in Felghana which comes out, like, now, lol.
Awesome list! I played Suikoden 1 & 2 back when they were released and I absolutely love them! Such fantastic games and battles are quick-paced. You will love them Erek! They are the inspiration for Eyuiden and are leagues better. The story will hook you and you will be loving it. ✅ Lunar 1 & 2 are fantastic as well! Very happy to see them coming out again.
@ yeah, the loading times were really dragging me on the switch version of Eyuiden. What they did with the pixel art in the Suikoden games is second to none. The first game is really great…but the 2nd one got even better.
@ErekLadd its crazy cause for the game that nearly killed the series is the one they go to every time they have a yakuza crossover hell even project cross zone 2 has the yakuza dead souls version and had the levels themed around dead souls
@@ErekLadd it is fun but it was also partially responsible for giving sega a bad impression on how well yakuza was gonna do in the best so much so we didnt yakuza 5 in the west for 3 years after the japanese release and it was digital only when we did something that is tounge a d cheekly referenced by the fact they give is a ps3 yakuza 5 case with the special edition of the remaster collection
@@ErekLadd also to explain why tanimura dissapeared from the series since u asked that in ur ranking video was because during the original release of yakuza 4 his face model/voice actor got into a scandel where he was accused (falsely i might add) of being in posession of drugs which in japan is a big no no which pretty much killed his acting career and forced him into retirement up until recently where he returned which is why yakuza 4 original tanimura and 4R tanimura look diffrent and why hes been scrubbed out of the series
Honestly, I think Xenoblade X is the only thing interesting to me right now. I loved it when it first came out, and vastly prefer it over the Xenoblade games we’ve gotten since then, so it will be fun to revisit.
What games are you hyped for? Let me know!

Now that's a series I need to get into!
Pathologic 3, Labyrinth of the Demon King, Animal Use Protocol, Death In Abyss.
That Clair Obscur games looks pretty interesting, I will have to put it on my list and check it out.
Suikoden AND Lunar remasters? That's actually nuts

Thanks! Yeah the Trails series is something I haven't touched yet - hoping to get to it this year!

If that's the case I can't wait! Eiyuden was fine but was just a bit meh for story for me, so I dropped it after 10 hours.

Expedition 33 and also The Starbites and Threads of Time
they if it drops this year.
Definitely hyped for threads of time whenever that comes out!
I haven't played suikoden either but I'm hype for it
Should be great!!
fun fact majima had a pirate costume in yakuza dead souls and if thats where they got the idea from im gonna lose my mind 😭
Honestly you’re probably right!!

@@rdxgamer1772 I really enjoyed dead souls for what it was! I’d love a remaster tbh.

Xenoblade X is the one I'm most excited for, but god damn are we gonna be eating good once again in 2025! Great video, brother 🐻
Gonna be eating good for sure!!!

And with the added content it's going to be even better hopefully! Will be great!
