@@robertsimon2885 There is still plenty to love about Disney, and the majority of the people I've seen working there are passionate individuals who love Walt and the legacy he built. Some bad apples may spoil the bunch, but the tree they came from still stands.

i live in Utah and my dad lives in California and he works at Disneyland and when ever i listen to the 60th anverisy music i always think of him. i also think of him when i also hear a kiss goodnight

I have gone 3 times to Disneyland, well, 2 because I don’t remember the first one. And everytime that the fireworks began, I began to cry because I was so honored and privileged of being there. I remember when all the time I was there and the tears burst of the love that Disney brings into my life. 🥺❤️

I definitely understand why they had to cut a chunk of this out - timing considerations. But I still believe they could've done something with 2:55-3:10. Also adds the right amount of finale buildup.

If Disneyland Paris does a Remember Dreams Come True/Celebrate Tokyo Disneyland for their 30th anniversary I could see them use this song for their nighttime fireworks show.

To be honest, I would've preferred this version for the opening and ending of Disneyland Forever. The currrnt version for the opening and ending are basically the same.

Do you happen to have the full upbeat pop recording of the "Live the Magic" exit version? It's what they use for rope drop in the mornings. This video only contains the first verse and chorus.
Very interesting. Thanks for posting this. I noticed several segments are different from the track played during the actual show. Is this some extended version?
applenick This is the full original recording from where they cut the segments for the show. As you can see there is orchestration that you don't hear in the show at all because they considered it was not proper to use.

this is the demo version not the actual version that's playing in the show right now. If disney finds this they will tell you to remove it quickly

Disney never officially released any of the music from Disneyland forever except for Kiss goodnight which they released on a cd they came with a book about Walt Disney and fireworks which the name of the book in kiss goodnight
@discoveryarcade music - probably a stupid question, but do you happen to have good/source audio for the opening announcement each morning when they play the uptempo version of this and take down the ropes?
This sounded weird. In the Disneyland Forever Soundtrack, it sounded better. But in here, I hear a boy.

I did notice that this soundtrack is similar to the Fireworks show, but audio clips that are not in the spectacular are present in your video as well, where did you get this audio from? Is this part of the original soundtrack Disney was planning to place in Disneyland Forever, but was left out due to cutbacks?
You are very welcome! I am a Disney music fan as well and I know what it means to have the chance to listen to this. The music is a demo version of "Live the Magic" that is used in the show. As you mentioned, there are some segments that are not in show's soundtrack. They eliminated them just because fireworks or projections wouldn't fit with the music, resulting losing interest during the representation.
