I Love this final more than the original....this explain more things and have more sense...In the remake Tommy knew that some day someone was going to ask him hes real name..."Mr Angelo" ....and he answered "YES" like a man, sacrificing himself for his family and accepted it. In the original he was more surprised and more stupid to believe that nobody would come to kill him and in the end he would end up happy
Yeah that's the thing, I was always bugged with how Tommy originally died, I just find it hard to believe that a hardened ex criminal who has been living in witness protection for who knows how long under a different Identity, would answer to his real name like a Deer in headlights. Tho I feel like the original ending did a better job of conveying the tragicness of it, Tommy just lying in the grass, alone, motionless, was sad as hell. At least he got to say goodbye this time.

He was living on the sand in Salieri's hourglass. He knew deep down this was likely Salieri's last wish to make sure the one who betrayed him didn't live a day after him and that Salieri's time has come as well. So best get moving to the staircase so both of them can meet Paulie, Sam and Frank and tell them what happened while they are gone
Its the other way around. By saying "Yes" you confirm your identity and you are 100% dead man, with "Beg your pardon" which is the translation of what he said in the original he still gives himself some sort of wiggle room. Pretty sure Frank's family got killed in a hit- squads ain't meant to show mercy for anyone nearby. That's a reason Tommy says "You're safe now" to his family. Because the vendetta could've as well been drive-by, burglery or street alley-restaurant hit(like when all died in Bon Appetit)- in which cases his family was as endangered as he was.

Nah it’s more cooler and badass this way and makes more sense if you know about guns you know a pump shotgun would’ve done way more damage to the chest than what u we’re shown in mafia 2 , and plus a lupara was how they did it in the 1900s more realistic and better.
They changed so much, but kept this mission the same? What was the plan? Wait for Tom to walk through the door, get two blokes with pistols to ambush him, make sure that Tom defeats them, hire all of the gunmen in the city, give them Molotov cocktails and hide them around the gallery including the attic, for when Tom decides to chase Sam?
I don't think so. I think is just like the original. He's a trained Soldato/Made man from the beginning of the game. Like Aldo in The Godfather 1 Game.
Now I’m thinking Mafia 4 should be even before Mafia 1. Here me out. When you think of mafia or mobsters who do you think? If it’s Al Capone then you’re correct. They could either make us play his life from beginning to end. Well his Mafia life ended after being imprisoned and quite honestly the game developers could add inaccurate events to make his life more crazy. Maybe small jobs around Empire Bay when he was a bouncer, then more crazy jobs in a different location more heavily inspired in Chicago (since that’s where most of his gangster stuff happened) and a touch of Las Vegas. I’m not sure about going about an actual story since it’s a real person. Or honestly have someone work alongside him. Maybe this character watches Al Capone from start to finish. Ending it off at his funeral after passing away from sickness. Might be interesting. I’m no expert on game concepts so don’t bash at me XD
If Hangar 13 were making a Mafia 4, which I honestly doubt, then they could set it in the 70s and 80s when the Mafia families started to lose the prestige and power they once had in the early to mid 20th century, giving some similarities to RDR2 when the age of outlaws and gunslingers ended. Our protagonist would be a high ranking soldato in a Mafia family as opposed to earlier Mafia protagonists, in the same vein as Arthur Morgan in RDR2.
Sam Zorn they’ve already confirmed that if they do make Mafia 4 it will be Los Vegas in the 70’s, and heavily inspired by the movies Casino and Goodfellas. They said the sales and reaction to Mafia Definitive Edition will determine if they go forward with Mafia 4.
TT seeing that a lot of people are loving it, I can safely say that they might be motivated to make a new one! And yes! Mafia set in a fictional version of Vegas would be awesome! I want to see how they’ll create my hometown in the 70’s it’s going to be lit!

They finely remodeled Joe to resemble his Mafia 3 future self.
Wafflefries85 that was how joe was supposed to look like if you look at the way he looks in mafia 2 cover its just that it was 2010 graphics n shit

Beautiful the fact the redid it with Vito and joe
Are you gonna do a freeride video ?

I always skip them by mistake and find myself here to watch some of them

Sam's reaction to Tommy when he asked him about his family suggests he doesn't know. Is that the truth?
@@loominizer31 He didn't want to say it loud(kinda like he regretted innocents died) since Tom was on his edge right there.
I know it doesn't fit the tone of the game AT ALL but I love that they used Everybody wants to go to heaven as the credits music, to me it was their way of saying "Hey, see? Hangar 13 can do great things if you give us another chance"
Fuck I really wanted to hear the original Fight theme of the original Mafia hahaha
Personally I love giant yellow diamonds telling me exactly where to go at all times

Man, I liked Sam's speech more in the original
the music in the original was also a lot better. i expected so much more from this remake. it's a total disappointment
yea well it wouldn't have been that hard to stay true to the original game
Stoner_Franc it was hard, and they still managed to pull of this amazing game, bless hanger 13
@@redvice6210 i guess the standards really dropped down in the last decade

i just finished this game. say what you want its the best game ive ever played. finished it in basically 2 days. And i havent been invested in a game like that for YEARS. give it a play please
Mafia 2 vs Mafia Remake: which is better for you?
I'm really disappointed with Mafia 3!
Mafia Remake
@@bossanac5498 well, they have 3 years to develop the game and they have a limited budget too
Something i can't even understand is why joe is holding an sawed off shotgun instead of the pump shotgun
Nah it’s more cooler and badass this way and makes more sense if you know about guns you know a pump shotgun would’ve done way more damage to the chest than what u we’re shown in mafia 2 , and plus a lupara was how they did it in the 1900s more realistic and better.
It’s a Shame Paulie had to die, he was one of my fav characters
I wish he survived, then he and Tommy live a great life with that money!
Man I love all three games with all my heart!!!( never played 2002 original)

My verdict
Both Original and Remake are good, real good
That was great 👏 (I shouldn’t have watched it all in one sitting 😆)
background music in remake its just like completed bullshit
Did not think remake was this good, seems like they did their best, this game feels very good
They changed so much, but kept this mission the same?
What was the plan? Wait for Tom to walk through the door, get two blokes with pistols to ambush him, make sure that Tom defeats them, hire all of the gunmen in the city, give them Molotov cocktails and hide them around the gallery including the attic, for when Tom decides to chase Sam?
Does Tommy’s shooting get better over the time of the game?
I don't think so. I think is just like the original. He's a trained Soldato/Made man from the beginning of the game. Like Aldo in The Godfather 1 Game.
John Donovan I play it on Xbox the sensitivity is so dam slow and there is no option to Change it

I'm so glad on how they made a game of my family but that's not how it ends but great game
Now THIS is an actual remastered. Not like the GTA Trilogy.
This game has tied all the loose ends left from the original game.
Idont know this remake is perfect
Am I the only one who keeps hearing those screams when inside?
If they mad a prequel revolving around Pepone it will be good
@@peternehemiah1606 there will be no thompsons, no sports car, and no prohibition

I Love This Remake A lot...It Has So Much More Emotion And Just Seeing Vito And Joe Again Makes Me Happy...But At The Same Time It I Always Get Emotional When Tommy Gets Shot...Always Gets To Me And Especially When He Has A Family And A Good Looking Wife With A Wonderful Personality...And Let’s Not Forget About Paulie...It Was Sad Since He Looked Like He Was Tired Of The Life But Hurt Even More When I Saw A Bullet In His Head The Next Day Of The Robbery...
