- The mime show, performed by students from the Department of Social Work, Government First Grade College, Uppinangady, showcased the detrimental effects of social media addiction, resulting in their well-deserved first prize win in a state-level mime show competition. The competition took place at Alva's Educational Institution, Moodbidri, Karnataka, as part of a state-level seminar centered around the theme "Digital World and Psychosocial Challenges" on 23/06/2023, known as Alva's Reach 2023.
The captivating mime show captivated both the judges and the audience, effectively conveying a clear message. The content of the mime show was derived from a brainstorming session involving college students, making it relatable and impactful. With its ability to raise awareness, the mime show is highly recommended for anyone utilizing smartphones and engaging in social media.
Dr. Nandeesh Y D directed the mime show, with Mr. Kiran Guddemane and Ms. Shilpa serving as assistant directors, contributing to its exceptional execution.
