Hi Ben. I love your videos. i learn so much from you. Thank you very much. My question is: you liike to go into the basement after doing the roof and exterior and end in the interior and kitchen. What about when turning on water while doing the bathrooms and kitchen .. arent you at risk for missing a potential leak in the plumbing in the basement if you are already done with it?
Yep. I do a final sweep of the basement looking for things I missed, or need to put back, or conditions that arose while I was finishing up the inspection elsewhere. It's a rare occurrence, but sometimes I have something new pop up at the very end of the inspection.
@@BenGromicko very smart. you truly are the standard for home inspectors. i am currently enrolled in a different school ( wish i had known about InterNachi before i signed up) but definitley want to become a member. Do i need to be certified first or can i become an InterNachi member at any time? Thanks again
@@BenGromicko As a fresh Inspector, my energy is channeled towards doing a great job but at the same time, gaining customers - do you have advice on how to increase clients within my locality? Thanks for your help, truly appreciated. :)
Right. I talk for a while in the beginning of each live webinar while looking at the number of attendees joining the live session, and when it peaks and stops peaking, I begin, because I think I've got the most people in the room. Kinda cool.
Glad you like it! I recommend checking out my free, online class "How to Become a Successful Home Inspector" at www.nachi.org/webinars/2020/how-to-become-a-successful-home-inspector-1 Another good inspection video is at ruclips.net/p/PLKPEi6DdHVZyHK4tkfQuDKRPkBE5oWtuA
Looking to get in Home Inspection here in my state, Texas. Texas has three levels in Home Inspector licenses. 1st is Apprentice Home Inspector License, which is where I would start. Do you provide this course for Texas? And how do I start? BLESSINGS!!
