I love how well grounded she is as a “80s child star”. She stepped away from the industry to go to school and came back to the industry and has been on fire ever since!👏🏾
💎: “Manage your expectations”
Around @ 42:00 I am in a similar situation. Have a degree and a trade skill that I’ve been using since grad day that I got my senior year in college. Changing my career path & taking a pay cut to utilize my education because it’ll position me better in the future. I’m scared asf right now but life is about taking risk and sometimes sacrifice is necessary. Absolutely great advice Kim Fields
Upshaws is hilarous. Watched it on a fluke and fell in love. Can't wait to binge the new season.
Legendary Class Act. This was a great interview. Kim said she is not only at the table...she built the table and chairs by paving the way for so many others all those years ago. I remember watching her in her role as Tootie and being proud.
Really enjoyed this from beginning to end. This lady is a gem. I could listen to Kim & CTG talk all day.
Kim Fields is a PHENOM! This is an awesome interview for such a class act as Kim Fields is in the industry and to the culture.
Kim Fields and her mother are Amazing, humble, talented, women in Hollywood. Their careers have been so long because of their beautiful spirits!
I love Kim Fields. So happy for her having a new hit show. She deserves it because she’s so damn talented!!
Kim still looks the same. She didn't get a bunch of plastic surgery, she is still naturally beautiful, and that is why people still recognize her. She looks gorgeous! A lot of these entertainers today need to take notes.
I love, love the Upshaws! I've been waiting for another season for years. It talks about African American topics that hit home for me.. I like that its real and true to life, and ANYBODY of any background can relate..
How have you been waiting for another season for years and it’s a brand new show🙄🤔😕
Charlamange, your line of questions are absolutely fantastic. I always enjoy how you think outside the box and ask deep introspective questions. Kudos to you. Keep it up!
Def agree. And then there's Envy🤣🤦🏾♀️We love him tho.......or we tolerate him at least😝
I’ve watched Kim so much growing up. We grew up together I feel like I really know her. Good Interview
If my childhood crush Kim Fields sung happy birthday to me like she did CTG, I would've blushed and giggle like a 8 year old girl.. 😂😭
I DEFINITELY had a crush on her when I was younger.....
Facts!!! Lol
Some people just bring them good vibes and make you want to cheer for them and Kim Fields
is one of them people. She is a class act.
I love The Upshaws! Her, Epps, and Sykes along with the supporting cast is amazing. Brings back the vibe of sitcoms back in the day.
I absolutely LOVED this interview! It was surprisingly calm, tame and respectful like not all that bull and clowning stuff Charlemagne usually be on. ❤️
Kim Fields looks awesome. "...manage your expectations..." So true! These conversations are real. The Breakfast Club brings it.
I don't like this program, but every now and then they have a show that I watch. This is one of them. I have always loved Kim Fields. Truly classy and inspirational, especially to those of us who have watched her since Mrs. Buttersworth (I was about 12 years old). Thanks for the isolated segment!
That woman NEVER AGES!!!!! I SWEAR!!!!! been in love her too since The Facts of Life!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Facts she STILL looks the same, beautiful
No Lie there!!!!😍😍😍😍
Tootie hair line is out of there
You in love with Tootie 😂🤣😭
A lil bit of a nostalgia ran through me watching this. I remember I loved being off for school on weekdays and being able to watch shows like “ the facts of life”, “ Webster”, “ give me a break”, and “ small wonder”. This was when black kids were on series and the theme songs were what you looked forward to. I loved Tootie.
She looks amazing. I could listen to her talk all day
This was a great conversation. Love Kim⚘ one of my favorite actresses. I'm so glad I saw this one.
I love this woman! Pure class and talent.
I love how CTG make people like Kim and others celebrities from the 80’s and 90’s their due!!! I can see she feel the love from him. God job CTH and Envy,! Y’all have grown so much. Proud of this show.
Hands down. This is a classic interview! Queen Kim
Love the Upshaws!! we need more episodes!
I love Kim Fields!!! The information shared in this interview was essential for all black and brown creatives and entrepreneurs!!! The Upshaws is HILARIOUS!!! Can’t wait for season 3!!!
Her laugh is infectious.😂 @@ she's referring to "Life and Def" I believe it was the first book written by Russell Simmons. I remember reading it in early 2000's.
Absolutely beautiful!! She deserves every bit of it, The Upshaws is an authentic story that brings you back to the good ol'days of TV sitcoms. Mike and Wanda stupid on a thousand but she's giving this show that Uncle Phil(RIP) leadership 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Props to Netflix for the platform, lol lord knows $21.45 we paying for it 🤣🤣🤣
Love Living Single... watched episodes over this past weekend.
I love Kim Fields consistency. Always the consummate professional. 👏🏽
I love Kim, Class act. I remember when she wrote and sang the song Dear Michael for Michael Jackson. He responded to her with a song as well. So much Nostalgia for me 💜
OMG thank you for the reminder!!! I totally forgot all about that song WOW!!! Takes me back in time ☺️☺️
I remember her performing it on Soul Train.
