I remember when I was younger and fishing a park lake a fella came over with a bag of boilies he was selling saying that these are what get ya the fish. They so did even to the point if you'd run out and had only a piece of boilie left on the hair it would still out fish anything else and anyone else for that matter. These were like magic baits . No one had this fellars number or address but every now and then he'd show up. Suppose what um saying if you get this bait code right it becomes more important than any tackle,,rig,new rod/reel etc etc. Good luck mate 👍 Just to add I once used a blue coloured shelf life boilie once and they caught me alot of fish,not a colour you'd usually seen sold/used.

You need to sell your baits in Costa coffee style vending machines Alfie! No plastic waste. People put their bucket under the hopper and can select whatever mix they like and add liquids and powders etc

I enjoy your videos Alfie. Do you know if your hook baits are effective for catching grass carp? I'm in the US and grass carp (vs. common carp) are present in many of our rivers and lakes.

A lot of pop ups these days are crap compared to the mid late 90s! Hardly any smell to them so you have to re boost em, after a night out they don't smell of anything, flavours that vary from one batch to another and some need corking to use! And that's from some well known brands. So some good reliable ones would be welcome, especially some good dedicated Winter ones.
Can’t reinvent the wheel. As with bait the big companies have researched and tested for a long time like mainline etc any one in the know will tell you there’s only a handful of bait makers that aren’t mainstream but absolutely make the BEST bait
There is never going to be a super bait… But confidence plays a huge part in fishing. Quality products and something made with care and attention and quality controlled by myself in a small environment is better than mass produced crap carp food. These are hookbaits. Not bulked out profitable business food baits made by company’s you’ve mentioned. Good luck mate. Tight lines.

So I know how key quality ingredients are having seen affects of people cutting baits customers returning and asking for refunds constantly, popups that don’t stay up for more that 12 hours. Like I say I don’t sell food bait. Just highly attractive quality hookbaits that you can rely on and have the most confidence in. Good luck 👊🏻

Billingsgate and candyberry ...... Carp catchers for sure .......😁

For sure! I’ve caught 4 40s on freelined bread and 30s on chewing gum😄! But a real nice hookbait gives you confidence.
