what's the shelf life?
Hi, sorry I'm late. You can store it in the fridge (in an air-tight container) for up to 1 week. Thanks for watching! 😊
could you add protein powder to these too?
I loved this video! Cacao energy bites looked phenomenal! I could have just eaten them right out of the screen they looked so good 😋🤤 I really love how you've kept the recipe so simple and easy to follow 🙌 If you're interested, I have a Channel myself, and I make vegan gf recipes too which I share on there if you'd like to see them 😘❤ Otherwise, your video was absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing this awesome recipe with us all xx
Tried this earlier today. Didn't like them. The flavour was fine but there wasn't much moisture, the product left my mouth bone dry and just crumbled. I couldn't roll it when tryna shape the ingredients into a ball, just crumbled neneath my hands, so i just had to squeeze it. Again tho... It was very dry.... Even tho I followed this video 50 time's over, followed it exactly step by step... It just wasn't it. Thought I would love it but it just left my mouth so dry. Atleast I tried right? 😂
Add some liquids.
Try adding more dates, and make sure the dates you use are soft and squidgy, like medjool dates
Thanks for visiting Me also looking forward to Your food in my face
...or at least Your recipe creations in the raw on my plate...
Can you make this without a food processor?
Hi Namrata, yes you can make it in a chutney jar / blender. You can also do it without any appliances. Finely chop walnuts and almonds, mash the dates using a fork, add cacao powder + vanilla and mix well (really well). Please let me know how it turns out.
Ps. Make sure the dates are soft. If not, soak them in hot water for a couple of minutes. I used Persian Kimia dates in this recipe, which was as soft as Medjool dates so no soaking was needed. Hope it helps! :)
Ok. Thank you for replying! I have a mixer. Will definitely try & let you know! I love sweets but want to control my intake of processed sugar😅
@@namratak9232 I only have a tiny mixer myself. When confronted with lots of things to mix, I do 1 ingrediant at the time. then you just give it all to a bowl and mix it with your hands or whatever
That is a great tip. Thank you, Jurgen.
@@jurgenrembrandt1349 that's an awesome tip! Will do from now on 🙂 thank you for sharing 💚 in the past, I have jammed my jar with too many things, ending up overheating the motor while not getting the stuff ground up well lol
