Good stuff brother. Find what you rifle and pistol likes and stock up. Buy only what you will shoot at any given time. I like things simple. I have 9mm, 22lr, 308, 223/556 and 12 gauge. I find what my weapon likes then i go all out and buy that for stock. I know it shoots and my weapon likes it. I try to make it a point to buy a box of something everytime i go somewhere that sells. Eventually you'll have a nice stock. You get a work bonus or taxes back then buy 500 or 1000 rounds. You'll get to where you are comfortable with your stock.
Those are rookie numbers you need to pump those up. Nice ammo stash nonetheless. You’re already ahead of the curve. A bunch of gun owners have nothing close to the amount of ammo you have.
I'm a newbie to firearms but I shot some in my past now I bought my own and I bought some home defense a lot of brands some ball ammo but I want to carry in Ohio we can carry without a permit soon. (constitutional carry)
I'm glad Ohio is going permit less carry. Lived there for the first 30 years of my life but you couldn't pay me enough to move back. Literally 95% of my friends are either dead from overdosing, in prison or string out I moved to Florida a while back and rumor is were also going to be going permit less pretty soon as well.
@@speedyd8150 my aunt, uncle and my cousin is living there from Georgia but I just heard that Florida denied that for one year more then that asshole who killed kids in Texas fucked the image of the firearm into shit now.
Willard ohio here. you only have 6 more days. If you go by the constitution a permit should never be required to exorcise a right you already have. even so there's one advantage i know of, maybe more, to still get a permit. i've had the permit for roughly 4 years now and with the permit you can buy a gun at an ffl and all you do is fill out the form but they no longer have to make the call to the database. in essence your permit is the background check. sales goes quicker.
Then one day when you get enough, you pour it all out on the floor until your room is filled about halfway up, and then you dive in it like scrooge mcduck.
Not bad young dude. ive dumped ammo into cans and plastic sandwich bags but now i just keepem in the box and out boxes in the can. that way if you wanna do an ammo count it goes quicker and there is less hassle
My suggestion is it's okay to have different brands of let's say 9mm or something but keep them in the box so you know what grain they are and that sort of thing but you also keep it separated that's what I do with mine and mine is very much like what you did but I keep I keep everything in a box
Check your 9mm ammo that is Winchester and Herters. They both had recalls. I shot a box of the Herters at the range last month and major issues. I made the decision to not buy either one again. Not worth your life. You get what you pay for.
I heard that. I just want to buy the better ammo because I am handicapped with one hand works. If someone is in the house I have to fire on them and I can't afford to a dub and I can't clear it but we live in a small town and safe town. That's right not worth your life. I'm good paying more money for firearms and ammo. I have three pistols two Berettas and a Walther (PPQ) I love that one.
I had some of that Winchester that was recalled, went out and shot it to get rid of it. All of it was fine. Maybe I got lucky but the Winchester has been the better of the plinkin stuff
Why wouldn't you ever shoot the m855 green tips. If you wont shoot it why buy it.lol...and you need some 22lr. That should be your number 1 caliber of the most ammo. Walmart has great bulk ammo. Federal automatch 325 packs for 21 a box. Get you a ruger 10/22 or a marlin 22lr rifle and a taurus tx22 or a heritage barkeep or rough rider or just get you a cmmg kit to go in your ar-15. A quick bcg and charging handle swap and magazine swap and you have a 22lr ar rifle.
nice little collection you started I would get .223 since that bs tax they want to do on ar15 people been buying 5.56 and not to much .223 so now it's the best time to buy before they go way up

@@blackticalmayhem8461 No, they are not the same cartridge or even the same projectile. Look it up. Then you may be able to respond with some level of competence.
I had Herters 9mm from Cabelas. The absolute worst ammo ever. Could never get through a magazine without a bad primer. Tried it in multiple 9mm guns. Look at the casings, they appear to be reloads from other brands.
I hear Herters are made by Winchester and are essentially Winchester white box. I've also heard that Herters has been around since the 1930's if I remember correctly... and eventually Winchester acquired them...
I'm always curious as to why so many people want to advertise their stockpiles ? In any case, if you ever have a house fire, ABSOLUTELY let the firemen know before they go in.
Who cares, its not even a huge amount, always gotta be one of you in every video. He's inspiring to have people stock up, it's an investment. Snow flake

There are many RUclips videos that cover what's referred to as long-term ammo storage. Now with the fluctuating ammo prices Nationwide you want to take the measures to separate SHTF ammo from your everyday training ammo. Now if you going to have ammo loose that's fine but if you're not going to use at the range anytime , you might want to invest in some Ziploc bags to keep it protected from moisture. MTM has an extensive line of ammo storage containers from ammo boxes to Bullet boxes that you can purchase on the Cheap on eBay. you might want to set up a dehumidifier system for your storage so you don't have ruined ammo just a few tips for the novice. Honestly if you're storing the stuff inside, it's fine lol If youre storing out in a garage or shop that isn't climate controlled then Ya store in cans with dessicant packs. But for inside storing in a closet ect, itl be fine for decades just siitin on a shelf even lol

A good poker player NEVER tips his cards. 🤫
I'd refrain from mixing different brands and lots of ammo!
Nice starter kit!!! 😁😁😁‼️
This is a reasonable stash.. love it bro.
The 9mm issue is why you never loose pack your ammo like that.
Off to a good start. Keep putting back as much as possible 👍
Good shit try to have 3 cans minimum of each caliber just a suggestion
Nice love ammo videos....👍🍻

Don't take them out to sea.... I did, along with my tools, and tragically they went down with the boat in a boating accident
