Yes in America we sat and waited for people to finish and all sat for 20 minutes for the food to digest and that was our time to talk. We also waited for everyone to sit before eating to pray together. We had a big family. Dinner time was our time together as everyone worked & had busy lives. We also had to be properly dressed. You are 100% wise and intelligent to your area and you know what will work best - it’s going to be a beautiful apartment house for you guys! I’m so impressed with your family - love them so much! I think when you are in a intercultural relationship each have to respect the culture. It is in my humble opinion that the partner should learn the culture of each other and if you have kids allow them to learn each other culture, that way they would adjust to all. Also just how you complainted to Mara about missing things in your country, he now feels the same in your culture, it's called culture shock. I think you are both trying to help each other very well and I think that is because you love your husband and he loves you, and that is a strong foundation of love.❤ My husband is Dutch and I am from the Bahamas two totally different cultures but we have been together for 30 years.
