It's pretty cool that your truck is still going strong I remember watching your restore video years ago I was still in high school lol time flies
The ebrake on properly adjusted 1 ton rear brakes is incredible. Its like being chained to a house. Pulling while braking could be worn suspension and steering components as well. Ive been fighting the same thing on my blazer, Ive been slowly replacing worn items thinking the next part is gonna fix it with no luck so far.
I might be just an idiot but I’m not sure how that splitter for the parking brake works. Just seems like the passenger side wouldn’t pull. Thank you! Great video!
The PS and DS parking brake both pull together when it’s hooked up correctly. You adjust the evenness of the braking between left and right by adjusting the long threaded rod on the DS parking brake cable right at the “splitter”.
Those are some beefy Hubs and breaks👍
Nice Kiddy!
Dude why give a tutorial on how the job done but say watch another video on taking out the drop pin
Should of done a disk brake conversion
I considered it, but I read mixed reviews about E-brake performance with the disc brakes, plus the repairs I did were about 1/4 of the cost. Thanks for the comment!
@@SquarebodyTruckCamper never. Disc brakes suck, parking brake will never work. Drums 4 life
Yeah since you sponsored the video and sent all the parts for free, why wouldn't he?
