I'm glad the issue was minor and not too serious. They really should check their wiring before packing up a scooter, it could have resulted in a short circuit even though the lights are low voltage and low amperage. I'd probably do a once over on that scooter just to make sure no more issues arises. Ride safe
Where in the deck are the controllers located ? Also how hot does the deck feel after running fast and long ride. ? I hate it when controllers burn out. Thank you.

Thank you so muche for your video 👍💪👌 I recommend to not touch the led strip like that and fix the issue as soon as possible or if you don't have enough time to fix it : unplug the led controller (white box). The risk is that the +12v touches the data pin (the one in the middle). If so, it can definitely damage the first integrated circuit of the two led strip on the stem/pole and of the two led strips of the deck. If it happens, your led strip will only brights in white and you will not be able to control your leds anymore

it was near front of battery, controller will not do overheating because ot attached to frame, that will serve as additional heat sink.
