    Thank you for this video.
From this video I realized my body type and I can say that some people can not be put into only one category as our body is influenced by multiple factors, say it genes, dietary, lifestyle, surroundings, cultural background. Now I have seen multiple videos and ohhh boyy!! I wasted major chunk of my life time on this. I'm pretty sure there are some people out there who are heavily confused by these systems and are constantly feeling bad, as they don't know to which category they fall under.
Here is the thing, we can be mixture of more than one type, as many or as less may be.
I don't want to go as per a specific system and get bound to it, come on that limits our creativity guys!!
Example: in my case I realized that my face fits into description of classic, my torso fits into description of romantic and my extremities fits into description of natural (considered bone structure, a look usually taller than i'm, height wise I'm short but people don't realize that I'm short until I tell them my height or until they put their extreme observation skill and all).
But, the best part is when I followed this, i.e.,
For face - make up as per classic (especially soft classic).
For toroso - tops are theatrical romantic recommendations.
For extremities - bottoms are soft natural recommendations.
I hope this helps, please don't waste time in putting so much effort in this breakdown. It's all right we all look pretty.
As they call it - beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.
And at the end I have to love myself.

Thanks for letting people know that is almost impossible to matche 100% one ID. People often make the mistake of doing based on the body type when in reality many people are mixed. Most of the times the face don't match the body.

Thank you so much, I believe you’ve helped me figure out my body type & kibbe type after 2-3 years of trying! I watched part 1 and I’m a pear shape which surprised me. I always thought pear had to have a deeply defined waist which I don’t have. I always thought I was between soft natural and romantic but I never resonated with it completely. As I have big hands and feet, I’m a size 8 in shoes, and have wide feet. And my hands are large. I think I’m soft dramatic, my friends told me I was romantic with dramatic/ romantic essence but I really think I may be soft dramatic, I have long legs and arms. My facial features are full, lush, sensual , full lips. I’ve always been told I have intense eyes. The only thing is I’m 5’4 can I still be soft dramatic?
I have slightly broad shoulders they’re 20in whilst my bust is 42in, waist 33in and hips 43, I’m trying to lose weight but find the only place I lose fat is my waist, thighs, upper arms, and back.
Thank you once again for your video, Turk,y appreciate it ❤

Im between TR and SD 😂 my body is so mixed it took a year to figure this out. i dont fit in to one body type so i had to wear SD and TR lines . Im SD and wear SD lines on legs. Im very petite , narrow and delicate on the torso and have to wear clothes from petite lines so transferring SD lines in to petite is basically TR so i pretty much wear TR lines on my torso. I also have a TR face. Kibbie bodytypes doesnt fit every person.

Just now finding your channel. I always thought I was a pear till I watched part one of this series. I am a bell. What are the possible options in Kibbe for a bell shape in your opinion? Thank you for these videos!

    • @jodytjan
      @jodytjan  8 месяцев назад +1

I am glad that the videos have been helpful. It took me 6 months to make these videos. From planning filming and correcting all the misinformation from multiple testing with various people. Most people pay a lot of money for this information apparently. It’s all free from sweat equity and paying a video editor for helping me make both these videos to help people who cannot afford my styling services.
With that said, I hope you understand that I have personal Silhouette and Kibbe assessments you are asking for is a service people pay for. You can see the video for my styling services to make an inform decision about my services. Then you can book a session with me starting next year. I am not taking clients at the moment.✌🏻

So apparently I'm dramatic classic, as I'm pear shaped with lean and narrow shoulders... Could you show some celebrity examples? i always hear that dramatic classic with weight gain become pear shaped but nobody ever shows pictures to prove that

This video and the previous one has been super helpful in narrowing down my type some. I fit best in Romantic, I'm a vase or bell shape, but I'm 5'8" and have a fairly large frame, hands, feet, ankles, etc. but not angular at all. As a side note: I would revisit the pronunciations for "lithe" and "archetype" as they are pronounced differently than they appear. English is weird. :)

Can't find my type (5' 7-1/2", pronounced hourglass, slightly-full bust, long waisted, long skinny arms and legs, guys following me like hungry puppies.) The brands I like (e.g. Lauren) fit right off the rack, though! I enjoy your content, Jody! Liked watching you check out the NYC Dept. stores.

This was excellent … tbh I’m still lost about my type weither some kind of gamine / or theatrical romantic…. Mcjinsey make it easier since I fit best with enginue (it’s increasingly noticeable as I’m well in 30s) but have some romantic as well & allows for combined types..
in the part two it’s obvious tho… I’m hourglass with a bit of lollipop bc I’m skinny ….

    Help!
I think it’s so difficult because I am not a typical shape. Im 5,6 1/2 and I put on weight on the tummy first, but also on my face, hips and thighs, chest and moderatly elsewhere. I have a long waist and torso where it goes in below the breasts and out at the hips/tummy area.
I have small hands and feet, small wrist and relatively thin ankles.
My facial features are more square/narrow and I don’t have big round eyes and full lips. Eyes are small and almond, lips are normal ish (?). Nose is a bit long.
The soft natural fits most but not quite. My shoulders are not wider than my hips and also the facial features are not really accurate.
I used to be very skinny and I feel my body shape is so difficult now because as Ive gained weight my waist is less defined and I gained weight up top too. Plus my face is more square/rounded where it was more sharo before.

  • @kadsenvieh

OMG it is so annoying. I think i am Dramatic Classic. Only other possible option would be Natural but i do not have broad shoulders. They are narrow in Proportion to my body. I always look a bit pear but just because of my broad hip, my thighs are thin and do not rly collect much weight.
Anyways: the dramatic classic clothes just look boring in my eyes. It is rly hard to find something that is clean but not with small detail AND has the right color and fabric.
Do you have some recommandations which Brands are making good dramatic classic stuff?
Nice Video! Loved your cloth examples

I’m 5’11” so I have to be a D, SD or a FN. I think I’m between a SD and a FN. I’m leaning towards SD because I have a larger chest, and my hips are wider than my shoulders. However, I am fair-skinned with blue eyes and blonde hair, and SD’s always seem to be described as having darker coloring…?

So I’m 4 foot 9. 26 years old not growing anymore lol. I’ve tried for a while to figure out my type. I know some people say height can not be a deciding factor and some people do. What’s your opinion? If I’m 4 foot 9 do you feel I’m automatically one of the types that lists petite?

    • @jodytjan
      @jodytjan  2 года назад +3

It’s more that there are height limits… since someone who is 62 could never be a soft gamine because they’re the most short.
However a shorter person if their head to height ratio it’s a certain way and their bone structures certain way (if eleonged with smaller head will appear to be much taller than they are and vice versa somebody who is of a tall height but has a very large head and rounded bone structure will appear to be much shorter than they are.

I am quite positive I’m a soft dramatic. But idk how important height is. Sometimes I think cause my arms are so fleshy it’s too fleshy for this body type and I’m a romantic but I’m really tall.
