Really interesting! My biggest anxiety symptom used to be/is nausea and feeling like throwing up. Therefore I started being scared of food which then led to orthorexia because i thought only 'healthy food' would make me not throw up. A bit different but still anxiety induces eating disorder🤷🏻♀️ Lucky I am almost over it, just setbacks sometimes.
I think my anxiety triggers eating about not eating enough. I don’t worry about body image or anything like that I actually don’t want to lose weight. It’s just my anxiety about when I eat I get anxious so I don’t eat as much.
I had Body Dysmorphia in the past, and very late I correlated it with the amount of anxiety I pushed away/swallowed when I was a kid/teen. Thank you for pointing this out.
I guess this would apply to low self esteem and never feeling good enough. I had a very stressful academic job that lead to drinking too much for a period of time. Even though I meditated the anxiety was still there. I've been working with your method for 3 weeks. It's unbelievable how many bodily sensations, weird thoughts and dreams that have come up. It's a little scary at times.
Absolutely Jacqueline, behind all limiting beliefs is fear and therefore anxiety. If you need support as you establish your practice, please don't hesitate to reach out and book a coaching session.
Yes, and if you are not in Australia we can do it via WhatsApp over the phone or just audio via Zoom. You can book in here openchange.com.au/anxiety-coaching/
This is very interesting....i have been thinking of asking you if you think fibromyalgia is also anxiety driven? I have acute anxiety and fibromyalgia and the two seem totally entwined to me! Your videos have been a great comfort to me...many thanks for what you do.
Yes Avril, all the symptoms of fibro are also anxiety symptoms. So it makes sense that fibro, through stress cumulating on the nervous system, is also caused by nervous system sensitisation. Glad the videos are helping!
@@openchangeau thanks Sam, and you are correct, it's definitely a manifestation of anxiety, and since learning what you've said, I've automatically started applying the same technique. My body is crying for rest, not exercise, and listening to that also helps. You've made a big difference Sam, and it's key that you have not judged or used one hurtful word. Thankyou. L

Thanks for sharing Leonie, and as you say yet another manifestation of anxiety. Great to hear you are well on your way to recovery.

Yes this is common - just another manifestation of anxiety so good to treat it exactly as another symptom to practice with.

Thanks for sharing this Anita and I hope the video helped

Is it possible to have a phone session rather than zoom?

Hi Sam great video.
Could you make a video with anxiety brought about from bad/fearful dreams?
I've had one for 45 years.....causes much distress
Sorry to hear that Lynette but I hope you can apply the methods from this channel to help.
