Still confused why he wasn’t…it’s upsetting me & my homegirls

Well I guess you didn't know she gave her salary for Cadillac Records to Pheonix House as well as giving them a cosmetology school.
The formulation is generic, I would not be satisfied as a customer to purchase a product for more than it's worth with average performance. I'm just me but I'm sure many others would rather donate upfront to a good cause than to purchase overpriced generic products.
@levi-ly5vg this is not generic, this is a product that was 6 years in the making, and is backed by science.
@@cherylgalloway4511 It's normal for brands to spend a lot of time on developing conceptually, marketing, market research, finding manufacturers, testing etc. (especially celebrity's pet projects). You might not want to accept this, but what Beyonce has released is the same as what's already on the shelves in drug stores, ULTA, and Sephora, a regular product in a nice bottle with a celebrity's name on it; it's not k18 and it's not Olaplex and in no way competes with the global leaders in haircare formulations. When you buy celebrity products you pay for branding and not for innovation. Read the ingredients and compare it to other products on the market. I'm a hair researcher so I know in great detail just how boring it is, not bad just not worth $38 for a deep conditioner. You simply have no concept of what better formulations look like.

I am ok with her not having stylers yet. For two reasons. I think folks focus on style over health, and then get big mad when the styles don't work because they haven't taken care of the health of their hair. Not that that would be the focus of her brand, BUT, if she's really invested in good hair care, giving people the basic tools before producing the stylers gives the company an idea of how much they can reasonably sell, AND gives the product show us what it can really do. Also, I don't care about stylers. I just put more gel, hairspray, or mousse on it if I'm really pressed.
I'm also glad the pricing is mid-level luxury. Like, I can fit both shampoos, conditioner, and rice water treatment in my budget every 3 mos of so.
And also her brand is literally about letting her edges and hair breathe "fvck these laid edges imma let it dread all up" I know I'm reaching 😳😭😭😭😭 but I'm feeling like a honey like styler omg
yes, this is def a product line that us grown women will want to try. I also don’t care about stylers and the price point is just like my other products from sephora
The styling lotion is the styler it had hold, i thought 🤷🏽♀️
This is definitely out of my price range. I can afford it, but I just don’t see a reason to purchase something when I already have stuff I love. If she would’ve did a gel, I maybe would’ve purchased. I’m always wary of celeb lines cuz most of the time they don’t even use their own products.
If any of us ever go missing, I think our families should INSIST that Will be a part of the investigation, because HE WILL FIND THE CLUES!
The harmonies when ha sang pure/honey ate!❤ Omg 😳
I hope they can sell refillables because the bottles are pretty I don’t want them thrown out too much lol

17:30 Yup you're right, that's NY. The writing on that building in the pic says "Spread Love, It's the Brooklyn Way" which is supposed to be our city's slogan
Forever "Peaches when we get this NASTY" 😂
I really appreciate how thorough this breakdown was
Will gon eat it up eeerytime‼🤌🏾
Honestly the prices are great for her reach lol, some celebs wouldve did us bad and charged us like $90 for a conditioner so im verry happy with the price point and look of the products.
Price-point is giving “For Professional Use Only” tho, not everyday consumer products even though she’s competing in Prestige Market. I would’ve like to see priced at $20/25+ per number of Oz.’s and varying upon ingredients/hair tech used/# of products in a System (Bundles) and could easily recoup & get substantial Profit & Revenue
At this point, we might as well admit that folks don’t shop at certain stores or neighborhoods because the average person isn’t paying $40 for one shampoo bottle.
@@blubeamin the gworls eat up OLAPLEX and it's expensive af so i'm not even about to complain about Bey's pricepoint. it's a good deal if the products are good!
But several other celebs hair products are more reasonable.
Thats a great point you made, I do agree with the prices but also in the ad for it you see them in the salon so I think they may be marketed more towards professionals.@@CrownedxKay

Fr. It’s the size of the bottles for me.
They're high, but they fit in the segment she was aiming for middle lux.
they’re not that high if you compare to their competitors. they’re not a drugstore brand lol
@@ToriUptown Girl what? Y’all just be lying because it’s beyonce. Those prices are terrible for the average everyday working person. If that’s not her audience then cool but that appears to be her target based on the promo I’ve seen. You can get those same products with a different brand except it’ll be cheaper and it’ll have more product in it, and guess what? It can still be black owned, crazy right. I’d rather support smaller black owned brands that give quality + quantity and have shown great results as opposed to a capitalistic multimillionaire who barely wear’s their hair.
@@ToriUptown It really isn't. I was expecting them to be more.
I’m your make believe friend…. Let me finish watching
21:04 it's in the cards for most human beings genetically lol hence the reason why you aren't seeing most people with locs struggling to grow their hair past their shoulders. The issue is length retention and has always been. It is very rare for anyone to have genetics that keep their hair short and when they do it's usually an actual disease like short anagen syndrome.
Exactly! And it has nothing to do with that rice water! It’s porosity. Asian hair is the lowest porosity. Their cuticles are closed tight. Which means, their hair can hold on to moisture for weeks & months without having to re moisturize. Moisture retention = Length Retention. Afro hair typically has a higher porosity so it’s difficult to hold on to moisture, which means it’s also difficult to retain length. A lot of type 4 hair ppl use thick butters & grease to over compensate for open/damaged cuticles.
Tip: Start Using conditioners that contain Behentrimonium Chloride. (Strong conditioning agent) Also, mixing 50/50 raw Apple cider vinegar & water into a spray bottle & then spraying that on top on the conditioner. ACV has a low PH that will ensure that your hair cuticles are closed tight as possible. No more single strand knots & dry hair! And length retention!
A lot of these shampoos for natural hair (even the sulfate free ones) are too harsh. The PH is too high. And the conditioner PH isn’t low enough to seal the cuticle. Also your water quality can have a high PH as well.
Recommendations
Shampoo:Tresseme Flawless Curls.
Conditioner: Design Essentials Almond Butter Conditioner
@@vmlksm9 you’re right. It saddens me that a lot of women with natural hair especially the tightly coiled aren’t as informed as they should be about textured hair care.
I went natural for a year and my tightly coiled hair was so much easier to maintain healthy than my relaxed hair (which I went back to but regret as it just constantly breaks). Length retention was so much easier, I barely used deep conditioner just regular one.
Do you use any type of leave in after conditioner ?
@@vmlksm9 Hehh? Ok so commenting for future references! This is something I need to actually try to apply. Do you prefer Asian hair care products because of this or perhaps certain brands you like in general l?
@@dollyrevenge98 I love the Curls Blueberry bliss leave in! Also Good hair styling cream by Uncle Funkys daughter. It’s a conditioning cream that contains behentrimonium chloride to help seal my cuticle even more. I also like Aphogee Pro vitamin leave in :)

That hydrating shampoo is shipped y’all make some noise 🤸🏾♀️
Agreed about the idea of persuading everyone that the products will grow your hair. Prefer that they say it will help strengthen, cleanse, and keep moisture in hair and if it lead to growth then so be it. I particularly is not someone that’s fixated on length, but more so thickened of the hair. I love thick hair, whether short or long I love thick hair it just shows that your hair is healthy, just my opinion with the exception of people hair that is naturally thin and always had that texture. For me growing up, my hair was always thick until I started bleaching and adding heat to my hair, then I have to cut it really short and start all over

Wow this was phenomenal! I really hope you are sent a set. You deserve it!
I think B ants to be a billionaire in her own right before she retire, so there’s this.
This is such a thorough analysis of the brand. Love it!
I love your first studio set up
Beyoncé and her team have incredible creative direction and Will you broke it down sooo well! But idk why anybody doubted the products like Auntie Tina wasn’t a hairstylist for years.
Because a lot of celeb backed products are trash and Bey rarely if ever shows her real hair.
That doesn’t mean anything as I’ve had stylists ruin my hair before. Auntie isn’t out here styling hair the way most of us would. I’m natural, have been for eight years, I don’t wear ANY fake hair ever and I flat iron in a blue moon. So I don’t relate to what they’re selling or trying to anyway. It’s just a cash grab.
@@jbb8261what if it’s not a cash grab and it’s simply not for you? why can’t beyoncé and her mother really want to do this bc they love hair and this is a passion they share? also, not sure what being natural had to do with the line bc they have no styling products
That proves nothing, lmao. I’m sure her specialty was perms especially considering the era in which she styled hair. Beyonce barely wears her natural hair in its natural curly state.

as someone who loves products and can afford to buy these, I will be trying and I’m hoping it’s good
Purr 💅🏾 15 seconds and I'm here
I’m not in a rush to try it.
I get the hair technology in some of the products but 40$ USD for a shampoo product seem like a HUGE PROFIT MARGIN and could’ve been more flexible even for a prestige/luxe brand starting at $26.50 & maybe more on the conditioners, oils, and systems but idk 🤷🏾♀
It’s Beyoncé…
We still buying it.
And that’s a what $13.5 cents difference anybody else would’ve tried way higher then that probably $120 if you don’t like the price range which isn’t bad then don’t get the products lol instead of complaining… Her mama was a hairdresser and she helped a bit in the salon so this was a smart side hustle for her.
shampoo lasts longer than conditioner that’s prob why it’s more $$ bc we buy it less
@@CalebTheOwlBoyNo *you’re* still buying it
20:49 This!
Not a Stan, but I’m a fan. I’m also tired of celebrities using their fame to make money off the communities that have built them up, so I am really crossing my fingers super duper extra tight that Beyoncé doesn’t tow that line.
I’m all for making products that can help or be useful to your community while making you some more coin, but when you got a ton of coin already, don’t be lying to the stans just to make some more.
So I’ll wait for the HONEST reviews and cross my fingers that Bey does it right.
I mean...$40 for 10 oz of conditioner?? Don't hold your breath looking for altruistic side of $500 per ticket, failed "street wear line" Beyonce
Nah! Rice water WORKS! It helps with retention more so than growth. My strands became so strong it cut down my hair breakage from a palm full of hair to just a quarter size. I was able to my hair to but length in two years.
@aishah5244
How do/did you use it? As a spray or as a protein treatment?
@@afroditesis4738 I soaked rice in water overnight. After I washed my hair, rinse with warm water, then rinsed my hair with the rice water from root to ends.
Most of the time I would apply leave in conditioner, put my hair in a bun to air dry until the next wash day.
IF I wanted to wear my air straight, I would rinse my hair with rice water, then add conditioner to my hair, let it sit for 20 mins. then rinse my hair.
Before using rice water, if I pulled on a strand of hair it would snap off. Now it can't even if I tried.
@@aishah5244 Thanks so much!🙏🏾
Happy Thursday 😊
WILL you did your big one yet again!
This was a very good & thought out video.. Buttttt I still believe there’s some type of disconnect with Beyoncé and her brand(s). Like is this just a “money grab”
because she know her fans will buy it, or is she REALLY passionate about hair?? We barely know what her real hair looks like, unless someone else post it..
I absolutely LOVE Bey, but I’m just a little confused because it seems like she’s just doing anything now. Best wishes to her tho! I might even try out the products for myself 💕
lol the reason we don’t know what her hair looks like is bc she loves her hair and keeps it away. like a lot of women. her mother obv loves hair bc she was a whole salon owner. lol she’s also very private so we don’t see many pics of her personal life but her hair is beautiful and healthy esp bc it’s dyed blond. also, Beyonce doesn’t need cash grabs. lol
@@ToriUptownI just don’t understand this thought process when Ms Tina is sitting RIGHT THERE. A top tier long time hair stylist!
Let me get my check next week, do they take afterpay? Klarna?
This hair brand and all others give unrealistic expectations. My hair is down to my waist and I’ve never purchased that product. It’s not the product, it’s genetics and consistency with what you do. They all need to stop. Love you Will❤
Exactly ❤
I am from Africa 🌍 and my hair only grows to a short afro. It's not going to magically get longer overnight. Unless I use hair extensions. Maybe I should go natural but from what I see only locs will give my hair length. So I agree with you it is genetics and the way you take care of it
Some hair products really help with growth and texture, so yeah the products are needed
The celebrities don’t think about us poor folks I swear they dont
But meanwhile it’s always the middle and lower class that make the most purchases and popularize the brands.

I feel you and normally I would agree….But the packaging goes hard tho ….it’s hard to find aesthetically appealing products, hence the whole reorganize my bathroom with these bottles, jars and organizers I got from Amazon lol I think she’s catering to that crowd too! just pod for thought my love
So true! Always look at the ingredient list . Many of the more expensive brands contain way too many chemicals. No one’s health hair is improved by all those chemicals.
@@ThePrettyOne707 I understand completely I'm saying that's how they get people. I mean look at good looking serial killers lol they look good on the outside but doesn't mean the inside matches. They get nice packaging and sell you the same stuff you get by making it naturally at home and only needing to pass less for the best healthier results. These celebrities all do the same things but say their brand is different yet its just different packaging but being made in the same factories and by the same distributors. Then they also say everything in their stuff is what they have used which just means it's something you can make yourself for less. If people want aesthetically pleasing things then think about starting a company that makes a aesthetically pleasing boxing and so on for the everyday items they use, at least your putting money in your pockets instead of rich people. But yeah girl it's cute but legit these celebrities be lying and putting out stuff many other brands have already done, or they have their team of people try out what other people are doing, see if it works, then secretly take different peoples formulas and mix it together, then sell other people's ideas. And honestly beyonce is cool and all but she's been accused of stealing from smaller names and brands who don't get exposure then has to pay them off
