Mac, like I mentioned before I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee your videos :) , I am Lebanese/American and do miss Lebanon so much, I am taking care of my 95 year old dad, it's been over a little year and a half and I try to show him your videos and show him Lebanon on your channel and ask him if he has been to all these places that you have been and stuff like that. My dad is a little forgetful these days, but I can tell he enjoys looking at Lebanon videos. Anyway, keep doing what you are doing and since I can't travel to Lebanon now, I am counting on your to eat the fruit cocktail with Ashta and Loz on my behaf with the avocado sauce. :) Thank you.

Before when people mentioned shawarma I only thought of Turkey, I didn't expect Lebanon to have the best shawarma!
The restaurant that won the award for the best sandwich in the world lives up to its reputation, and seeing those two pillars of meat made my mouth water!
But the most unbelievable thing is that those delicious shawarma are free, I think that must be one of the reasons for their success!

Taratour sauce with the beef shawarma is made from Tihini lemon juice and fresh garlic not from flour as Foad said. Nice video bro. Love your work and yes Restaurant Joseph is the best in the business

Taratour aka Tahini sauce. Is not made of flour. Tahin is flour. Tahini is sesame seed paste. So beef shawarma is with Tahini sauce or as we Lebanese call it Taratour. And Chicken Shawarma is with Toum (garlic sauce). I am glad you enjoy Lebanese food that much. We Lebanese are very proud of our food and Culture. We Love to share it with the world. I have yet to have a schwarma in North America that is not slightly dry. Don't know why. For some reason, they don't know how to keep the meat/chicken moist here.

That's the average rate of consumption for males in Lebanon, there's people who eat in huge amounts here, that's how we've been raised kinda, country side people eat like crazy that's for sure, fouad's still kinda a city person, Lebanese people can surprise you in many ways and forms
