I wanna know because I wanted to try and create a new game continuing from the ending of Bobby’s Story that u created and a Fan Game version of Pokémon called Pokémon: TAG ! I had it inspired by the movie TAG that was HILARIOUS and I wanted to incorporate it into Pokémon. Plus, there’s a meme of the Encounters on RUclips called: Pokémon Sword and Shield Memes.
Yeah! It's really funny how the Scissors boss looks so scary and it can defeat Mario with its 999 damage attack, but you can beat the boss without taking any damage at all if you plan it well!
@@lerq0ux Yeah I can agree with that, but the idea is that Scissors looks really threatening (and is), as he can easily cut Mario in half. But the ironic thing is that you can easily beat him without him even touching you.
The handocanda doing the same damage kinda makes sense because if you’re being thrown to the ground feet first, guarding your face isn’t going to help much
so i realized so low hp in mario games would be peach her worst nightmare because in other mario games like Rabbids kingdom battle she has like 750 hp well im pretty sure peach wont wanna have only 10 hp
This was a really interesting challenge! It was nice to see how many bosses could be defeated this way of course, but what I liked the most is that we got to learn about boss and even game mechanics that we usually don't see in regular playthroughs of this game! 22:51 Flying Dry Bones heads to be precise, since they even rattle.

Am I the only person in history who’s favorite boss in this game (or ever, really) is Hole Punch? It’s music is absolutely amazing (and my favorite music in any Paper Mario game), it’s really unique, it has amazing buildup (especially compared to Tape, but is pathetic compared to Scissors and Stapler), it’s fun, it’s not too easy or too hard, and has amazing design.
Hole Punch is a fantastic boss fight, and the music is fantastic! The Temple of Shrooms was a really fun buildup to the Hole Punch boss! Have a great day :D
Be sure, you're not the only one. His theme is really cool and *groovy*. Also I like his personality, I find some simularities with mine in it. To say, his death.. It is not so sad for me, as Olly and Olivia, but stands at the 2nd place with the Scissors.

Interesting... If there was a new game+ that has an advanced mode difficulty through selection when starting a new game instead of making it up with specific restrictions, (no accessories, no deaths) there should have been an option to have tutorials on or off so that way for those players that want to do a faster speed run, they can get better times! Overall, great video on this experiment! How advanced mode should work in Origami King: -enemy's Max HP is increased x1.5, and deal double damage -to compensate, time given to solving a puzzle move is doubled -all enemies will have the rage buff (the angry thought bubble) -frequency of wave battles increased but the coin reward victory will be doubled -HP will always be fixed to 50 but weapons and boots will never break throughout the whole game (weapons breaking all the time is a pain) -you cannot use coins to buy time or bribe toads in battle to either heal you or reveal a correct path to the boss (gotta play this the hard way!) -incorrect line ups debuff Mario with 0.5 attack down but great/perfect line ups will buff with x4 attack, finish off attack turns will not reward the player any buffs. Crazy but it makes it interesting overall! That's right, Mario's HP is "paper thin" in this series! P.S. Still playing the game trying to do the no guard rule (possibly the no guard rule is going to be unavoidable later on)
20:00 if you line this layout perfectly you can get the extra damage panel, extra attack panel and the attack panel, maybe than it’s possible to do enough damage to kill the boss
The sumo bro might have 200 HP so Legendary Iron Boots with the x2 panel and +1 action command panel may not work because the max damage I’ve seen without edits is 198 total damage with 200 max hp. And yes, the damage becomes higher the more max hp you have, so your damage might be even worse than 198.
Question: why do the bosses sometimes do different amounts of damage for the same attack? In older paper Mario games you took half damage or 1 less damage if you blocked, so how does the game calculate damage here?
I was really surprised to see that at first! In the older Paper Mario, you could be sure of exactly how much damage something will do to you, and exactly how much damage something will do if you block. The fact that the same attack can do different amounts of damage in this Paper Mario is something that might be deserving of its own video. I'm not sure if it's based on the timing of your block, the enemy's remaining HP, some combination of several factors, or pure RNG. Either way, it's definitely unique and I didn't expect it! Maybe it works in a way that's similar to Pokemon, where attacks can do a slight range of damage? If we learn more, it could be a quick update I share on Twitter!

A 62.5% win rate is pretty good. What about 20 HP? Maybe it COULD be possible beat Rubber Band at an HP lower than 50. Just might. God, that might be the worst boss.
Mario's win rate is not bad at all! If snapback always does 11 damage with a block in the outermost ring, then 12 HP and a 1-up mushroom should be enough to beat the elastic entertainer boss! If the snapback attack was completely RNG (I don't think it is) then 10 HP would be enough, but I think we could definitely get it done with 20 HP!

That's a really interesting point! I'm not sure if the x2 and +1 panel can both appear, and I'm not sure if x2 panels make the fire flower do extra damage. It'd be really cool if you could take out the final boss in a single turn and win!
For every single boss that you couldn't beat with 10 HP, if you used a cheat that gave you infinite 1-ups, how many 1-ups would be required to beat the specific bosses that you could never beat?

I had a 50 HP challenge, where we were able to beat every boss, and a 1 HP challenge, where we weren't able to beat every boss, so I thought a 10 HP challenge where we try to beat as many bosses in Paper Mario: The Origami King as possible would be a fun video! I thought 10 HP would be nice and challenging, it would make some bosses possible and other bosses not possible, and of course, you start with 10 HP in the original Paper Mario games, so this was also paying homage to the original Paper Mario games!
I had my own boss fight Glue the sticky sticker Glue tiles stop mario Attacks:ground stick,snap,sticky spin Special:Glue cannon(shoots itself out and comes out the case a little) Glue stop attack after mario(like rubber bumpers)sets up Glue tiles 1000 fold arms first does nothing then you can take the Glue out when the special enabled (it will say PULL IT OUT) phase 2:mini glues Attacks:Glue nuke(like final cut but squirt out the Glue with your hammer),white missle,squirt(heals boss 30 hp) All voice lines:oi don't touch that magic circle,heheheh your arms can't touch me im sticky,what you gonna do mate? Hit the mini Glue,IM GONNA GET YA IM GLOWING,OI DONT TOUCH ME,you pulled me out mate,that's it mini bros go!,your hammer is stuck to me get it off
There is a hammer island that gives a legendary hammer as soon as u can access the ocean and the boat. This could be useful to mabye kill one of the bosses that you couldn’t but I’m not sure

For the boss sumo bros if you're lucky you can also get the x2 damage and probably win with 10 HP
That's a really interesting point! I'm not sure if the x2 and +1 panel can both appear, and I'm not sure if x2 panels make the fire flower do extra damage. It'd be really cool if you could take out the final boss in a single turn and win!

I had a 50 HP challenge, where we were able to beat every boss, and a 1 HP challenge, where we weren't able to beat every boss, so I thought a 10 HP challenge where we try to beat as many bosses in Paper Mario: The Origami King as possible would be a fun video! I thought 10 HP would be nice and challenging, it would make some bosses possible and other bosses not possible, and of course, you start with 10 HP in the original Paper Mario games, so this was also paying homage to the original Paper Mario games!
Theory: you CAN beat rubber band and probably the fire vellumental with 10 hp, you just need a better block accessory
I had my own boss fight
Glue the sticky sticker
Glue tiles stop mario
Attacks:ground stick,snap,sticky spin
Special:Glue cannon(shoots itself out and comes out the case a little)
Glue stop attack after mario(like rubber bumpers)sets up Glue tiles
1000 fold arms first does nothing then you can take the Glue out when the special enabled (it will say PULL IT OUT)
phase 2:mini glues
Attacks:Glue nuke(like final cut but squirt out the Glue with your hammer),white missle,squirt(heals boss 30 hp)
All voice lines:oi don't touch that magic circle,heheheh your arms can't touch me im sticky,what you gonna do mate? Hit the mini Glue,IM GONNA GET YA IM GLOWING,OI DONT TOUCH ME,you pulled me out mate,that's it mini bros go!,your hammer is stuck to me get it off

There is a hammer island that gives a legendary hammer as soon as u can access the ocean and the boat. This could be useful to mabye kill one of the bosses that you couldn’t but I’m not sure
