And THAT'S why the Home Fries ask reactors to get to know the group first--so they can have that same startled reaction when they hear Tim start the song 😲. It's great fun for us to watch 😂
Besides Tim going up in his range and Chance going down in his, I think the underlying feeling of "different" in this arrangement is that they are singing in a higher key than they normally do. They chose to sing this in its original key as sung by Cam, a female country singer. (Which makes Tim's lead even more mind blowing 🤯)
LOVE the versatility of our amazingly talented fellas!! 🥰. Every member of Home Free could absolutely be a solo ⭐ star ⭐ but their harmonies together are MAGIC!! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
You are now ready for Tim Faust's solo cover. A mashup of 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.'
It will re-blow your mind. Oh, please also react to Home Free's cover of 'Think A Little Less.' It is a badly underappreciated cover from them.
You forgot the "Snowglobe" step
Don't forget Tim and Austin singing My Maria!!
As far as the song will you still love me and stay I've been listening to them for over a year and I wasn't ready for that one so yes she must hear that I don't think she's going to be ready nobody's ever ready for Tim to go that high
I came here to recommend this exact video next lol
You were ready. The reason the Home fries want people to wait to do Mayday is so they will get to know all the members and their "normal" ranges. That way you appreciate better Tim singing in his upper range (He does go higher) and Chance covering the bass. Loved your confused expression when you realized it was Tim singing the high lead. To hear his full range do check out Tim's solo cover, Will you still love me tomorrow / Stay. Can't wait to see your expression on that one. The guys have released so many new covers since this and I am sure you will enjoy everyone of them when you get to them.
Yep, the more entrenched you are in the belief that “Tim is just a bass,” the more your mind is blown when you see that he’s not.
They are singing in the same register as Cam who sang this song
@@davidtullis2810, they did the same thing with “Crazy.” Austin sings lead in the same key as Patsy Cline.
Honestly some of us live for the facial expressions we see when reactors first hear Tim hit his tenor range. Now that you have seen Mayday you can see Tim's solo "Will You Love Me Tomorrow/Stay" 😈
@@davidtullis2810 Exactly! I queued up Cam's original in one browser window and HF's version in another, ran both simultaneously, and after playing with it a bit was able to listen to what sounded like a single performance!!
We told you before Tim has a 5 octave range it's just your first time hearing it that's all he truly is a madly talented singer.....
This song is one of my favorites. Your surprise at hearing the switch ups in the voices was great. Tim can sing in a beautiful higher tenor voice along with Austin & Rob. And Chance can hit the lower bass notes when needed. And Adam did a fabulous job as always with his vocal percussion. This song is sung by a woman Cam, so they sung it in a higher key to match the original.
Your reaction was perfect. Aren't they incredible?
You have satisfied so many Home Fries with this reaction. You got it!
Gabbsi they are so talented....Tim has a 5 octave range....from high tenor to basso profundity. Chance takes over bass from his usual baritone when Tim goes high !!! Check out their new stuff too. Like "From here to the moon & back" and "The Driver"
“Ain’t going down till the sun comes up” the Garth Brooks classic and “Listen to the Music” the Doobie Brothers’s classic are a couple that came out since your last Home Free reaction that you will like. And you will get to hear a lot of Tim’s range if you check out “Will you still love me tomorrow/stay where he sings the high, the low, and everything in between.
Home Free will surprise you at every turn!! There is so much talent among these guys, it's insane! You just never know what you're going to get. The only thing you CAN be sure of, it that it will be awesome.
This is why we tell people to wait until they know Home Free before Mayday 😆
Your reaction to the opening 3secs, was priceless. You was so stun. Lol
Time for you to check out Tim's channel, and watch Will you still love me/Stay. It's a real eye opener. 😁 Thanks for the awesome video Gabbsi! It was worth the wait. ❤️
I have missed your Home Free reactions. Yes Tim is very versatile. And if you really really want to see how high Tim can go react to Tim's Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow. You will be shocked.
That's why many Home Fries will tell reactors to hold off on doing this one until they know a little more about the guys and their vocals, because anyone viewing this without knowing would not understand Tim's super low bass notes and not be surprised like you were knowing this. Many don't know Chance also can sing bass too. Many surprises in this one.
The fact that ALL FOUR SINGERS ARE BOTH DYNAMIC, MULTI REGISTER AND PHENOMENAL IN TIMBRE & VIBRATO .... Always in the middle of the note, pull off leads, harmonies and blend in synchronicity as no other group can ! You only have to hear them once to know they good .... or LISTEN TO THIS TO HEAR THE DIVERSITY & TALENT BEYOND ALL OTHER SINGERS.
For another interesting surprise, Tim and Austin do "My Maria" on Austin's channel. So much fun. Tim has a crazy range. Throughout Mayday, you can see that Chance is covering the bass line. Tim and Rob and Austin are all singing in the same key as the original artist, Cam.
YES you will really enjoy and have your mind blow when you react to Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow by Tim solo performance.
Gabbsi!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!! Mayday!!!!!!!! ❤️
These men are just that talented! Super impressed with all of them, but Tim is showing his range and Chance is showing his range as well! Please react to Brothers In Arms by Home Free! Thank you!
Oh yes, Tim can and does! Love your surprised face 😯 And then Chance does too! great reaction!! To see Chance sing a great one, try Helplessly Hoping. And of course, Adam has a beat boxing video you just gotta check out since you are drummer!
That, is just 1 example of why they are THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! ❤️
Thank you sweetie, so enjoyed your reaction... was golden!!! Thank you...
Brothers in Arms also will blow your mind. Sounds like a full choir. Nope just them humming.
You are the first reaction I have seen that had a corrrect responce to the range flips in this song, and it has satisfied something deep in my soul. Thank you.
This was everything a Home Fry wants from a reactor hearing this song for the first time!!! Thanks so much!
Now you should listen:
"Tim Foust ‐ Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay"
and
"Tim Foust ‐ Come Go With Me"
This songs will blow your mind 😁
Every time this comes across my feed I have to watch it again. Your reaction to this song is the best one.
Your reaction to this song is my favorite of all the reactions! LOL!
This is so great. Tim's vocal range is amazing as well as Chance. None like them they are amazing.
Love this arrangement!!! Besides all the vocal surprises, this is one of their songs where I totally forget that there are NO instruments being played!!!!
Sweetie, Tim has a 5 octave range. Yes he is their bass. But on this song he kills it! When Home Free as been asked who isvthe best singer in the group, everyone points to Rob! He is awesome! My favorite member. ❤
This group has five tenors, two basses and one freak of natural.
Tim has a 5 octave range. SURPRISE!! Just wit for Chance! ENJOY!
I keep watching this reaction. You are so adorable in this.
He can go even higher.
Loved your reaction! I almost spit my soda out of my nose! Lol!!
Tim Faust's solo cover. A mashup of 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay will really blow your mind. lol
Home Free are the best! Check out their other songs like The End of The Road cover of Boyz II Men. It is awesome. Love you reaction!
And now you know why they said it was too soon and you weren't ready for this one. React to Working For a Living by them. lol Thank You.
Love the little extras added on the processing and confusion
I don't know if we will see another reaction to Home Free from Gabbsi for a while. She seems to have had her brain melted by Tim's PARTIAL range. Lol
I just loved your reaction to this song. Welcome to being a HomeFry.
They are all AMAZING
Chance shines in Helplessly Hoping, and Brothers in Arms. I think you would really enjoy both from Home Free. Hope life is treating you well Gabbsi. Miss you.
I think you are sufficiently blown away by the versatility of these men! The basic answer is because they can!
This is most surprising Home Free video ever?? Then I guess seeing Austin and Rob sing opera would probably drive you nuts!! Austin Brown Rob Lundquist Nessun Dorma!!
As an older dude... I Highly recommend "Listen to the Music"... they slayed it!!!
They sang this in the exact same key as Cam. She was the original artist for this song.
Rob, Tim, and Austin are singing at the same pitch as original singer, Cam.😮
yep they are in the same general range at the start because they wanted to sync up to the original song tenor range with the 3 of them.
Chance (Adam Chance) did bass for his group prior to joining Home Free. Tim shows that Adam Rupp is not the only "freak of nature" on Home Free ;-)
Adam Chance same bass for the last group he was with. SURPRISE! AND SURPRISE TIM CAN SING FIRST TENOR IN HIS HEAD VOICE!
Great reaction! You showed how we all felt watching this for the first time.
I love the reactions to this song just because of the person's reactions to Tim's falsetto and then Chance's bass lol. Your's was one of the best!!!!
Austin does have a warm, sweet voice. Hence why he stole my heart since day 1:)
Awesome group listen to him for a change
They are amazing.😎
Tim does a solo song, singing all the parts, and goes up higher than in this one. No other group has the versatility to change up and go from bass to tenor, or all of the others that can do beat box and not just Adam. These guys are unreal.
Masterpiece from HF!!
So much talent
Best reaction yet 😁
Your reaction was so great!!!
Austin & Rob: Guys we need three tenors to do this right
Tim: No worries, I got this. Chance you have bass
Chance: I'm down
Adam: Ba-dum-tiss
Shocking for Tim to be in the “4” octave, he can get into the “5” octave and down to the “0”
Now you know why people wanted you to wait. Because they switched up their usual roles and showed off their versatility. Great, right!
I love watching people react to this video because I get to live vicariously through them experiencing it for the first time.
Yup. Exactly.
You should totally watch Peter Hollens and Tim Faust do "Greensleeves" . It is AMAZING
about time
As said in another Mayday video "Tim: I feel like being a tenor today. Chance: Cool, I'll do the base." And now you know. Tim is truely 5+ octave range and Chance is the secret weapon. It gives them so much diversity in what they can do. And yes, Tim's "Will you love me tomorrow/Stay" is excellent. Austin once tried a baritone note and did pretty damn well! Rob is smooth as butter, as always and a true gift to the group, and Adam's drum fills are fantastic as ever (he's gotten better too!).
Listen To The Music should be the next one, beatboxer Adam Rupp goes crazy!
SURPRISE
yeah, home free is an accapela group of 5 men with :
1 bit box
2 tenor
1 high tenor
1 bariton
and 2 basses ^^
Nope Home Free is a group of 5 men with
5 tenors
2 baritones
2 bass
5 beatboxers
1 Freak of nature (Adam) lol
Best acapella group out there. Nice reaction.
having 4 sopranos, 5 altos, 3 baritones and 2 basses really gives flexibilities!
In back with the black beard is Adam Chance know as Chance who sang bass in a group call Street Corner Symphony .
It's a really deep rabbit hole.
BECAUSE THE ARE ANGELICAL VOICES
Yeah I was gonna say Chance was the bass in his old group Street Corner Symphony.. I believe that group was on season 3 of The Sing-off..The year before Pentatonix won season 4..
Street Corner Symphony was in Season 2 of the Sing-Off. They came in 2nd place. Fun fact: Right before the Sing-Off audition, SCS was looking for a bass singer, but Tim Foust said no. So they asked Chance.
@@brendasorenson6186 really… I didn’t know about Tim.. I was wondering if I was off on the season…that was so long ago now.. I can’t remember everything..lol
@@xboxbml I don't remember well myself! BTW I learned about the SCS - Tim connection on one Chris Rupp's History of Home Free 5th? episode.
: ) Yep, there is reason!!! Now ya understand. Be Safe
Yep, what the heck... says it all
If you’re surprised by Tim in this you should listen to Tim Fousts “will you still love me tomorrow” that man has RANGE.
😂🤣 Waited till 4:40 to see you react to Chance! Worth it. 😅
It's an awesome song
Thank you ^_^
Tim has a 5 octave range, he can sing pretty much anything.
Oh yeah. You were ready. 😁 It’s so sad to see reactions where they don’t know how amazing the vocal ranges are in this song. 💕
Love this reaction, please start checking out each member's non home free works, they are all phenomenally talented, they do solo works as well as collabs with other groups. Chance with the Hound and Fox covering Wayfaring Stranger is a great one.
In an interview Tim states that you have to be able to hit the high notes to reach the low ones.
I noticed your reaction to Rob in End of the Road. Watch he and Austin sing the aria Nessun Dorma.
Gotcha!! That was fun, huh?
🎶HOMEFREE🎶

Sixteen Tons

..
If you google "What is real talent?", the first thing that should show up should be a link to Home Free's RUclips channel!
You should check out "my maria" sung by Austin and Tim. They reversed where Tim sings tenor and Austin sings Bass. All members of the group have great vocal ranges.
This 1 blows everyone away their range
All 3 of the most famous American acapella basses have enormous vocal ranges. Avi Kaplan's is the smallest at just short of 5 octaves. Geoff Castellucci is outrageous as well. Geoff and Avi have both layered their voices all up and down as the backing chorus to songs in recordings. Kurt Moller can do the same thing and is in comparison videos with them.
Adam Chance sang bass in the acapella band Street Corner Symphony before he went to Homefree.
Tim, profunda bass, with an 8 Octave range
