It’s called a bulkhead that separates the van from the cab
+James Ireland Hey thanks for watching!! Yes that is definitely one thing to call it. What we meant to say is partition. That’s what we call it where we are from. Hope you got something out of this, let us know if you have any questions! Thanks again for watching, much appreciated.
I have a 2002 E250 also 12ft bed. I want a freightliner next 😆
My E250 loads up 7 pallets of finals.
+Angel Yeran wow you really pack them in there! Lol. That’s awesome, thanks for the comment!
The separation is called the bulkhead in the upfitters industry.
+Kevin Collings thanks for watching! And thanks for commenting!
Interesting to see another point of view, all of the tradesmen I know, know it as a partition
Nice Video. . But yeah Sprinter are the best, especially if you do a lot of commercial and Industrial work.
Ya sprinters are nice, pretty pricy though.
Yes! Just purchase a 3500 dually sprinter to tow my us jetter. Got it outfitted with v spec shelving. Love it!
great van set up service plumber Nova Scotia
+David Moulton hey thanks! Would love to see pictures of your set up. You can connect with us in our Facebook group. The plumbing gurus. Hope to see you in there!!
its called "partition"
Thanks! Sometimes doing rolling videos it brain blocks me lol. Thanks for watching
Such a good boy
Nice Ride man. Wish you the best for your business
Appreciate it!
What kind of mileage do you get?
What brand shelving did you go with. I like the slotted dividers
I’ll have to check. It was from a local shop in Calgary. But I think he orders them from the states I’m assuming
Its called Partition Wall.
How do you find clients usually? Advertising?
+Demitri B. Awesome thanks! Usually it’s word to mouth.
Or it’s a bulkhead
Looks good
thank you and thanks for watching
Great video guys.
I'm a plumber from Murray harbour pei ready to go out on his own.
Your shelving looks great!
It's a shop on wheels
+john holmes thank you! Best of luck to you going on your own!
Thank for the comment
Another plumber cool
Does it snow a lot were you guys live? I'm thinking of buying a service van, but I'm not sure if this kind of van will run well in the snow.
Yes it snows lots here in Calgary.
We used winter tires (studded) and no problems at all. Honesty the van was like a tank.
@@ThePlumbingGurus Whoa really? Thanks, I’ll probably end up getting one of these. 👍
Great video
Thanks for watching!
Partition
Thank you
Actually, we didn’t know we could edit this eey.
+Norman Nicholson yep!! Thanks for the comment and watching!!
What’s the height med or high top
It’s a high roof
@@ThePlumbingGurus what was the cost to have it outfitted like yours
I believe all in for shelves and partition was 3k
@@ThePlumbingGurus I’m starting as a apprentice plumber. With this company I have to purchase my own vehicle within 8weeks. So any advice for beginners
They make you buy your own vehicle ? That’s intense. I wouldn’t recommend buying one of these. They’re expensive. Join our Facebook group “ The plumbing gurus “ will be easier to chat there
GOOD morning plumber. INADIA to joB SARCH help plumber
That’s not a good van try running sewer machines out of it. What plumber don’t have sewer machines. My van is a extended wheelbase savanna gmc and it can do anything that a actual plumber can do.
+Tony Ortiz good for you. I had a drain cleaning company with all the sewer machines. I decided I wanted nothing to do with drain cleaning. Sold my heavy duty machines and moved on. We have a company we call for drain cleaning now, that just does drain cleaning.
That’s a perfect van for what they do. I do sewer cleaning and needed a 3500 dually sprinter high roof. This can do a lot more than your savanna gmc. If you wanted to compare apples to apples. (Drian cleaning- sewer machines) I’m happy to show you also! @tony Ortiz
+Marino Sanchez exactly. Thanks for leaving a comment. Nice to see people engaging.
Me. I dont have sewer machines. Id rather send off the work elsewhere. Ill stick to cleaner and easier stuff.
@@FamilyChannelfun32 send it to me! I’ll gladly take it😬
THAT'S A GOOD IDEA WITH THE PEX
+sting ray thank you!
Thanks for watching
what brackets did you use to mount the ladder on the ceiling of the roof inside?
It was a custom thing I had built from a shop.
How deeply appreciate your video I'm going to buy a plumbing van so it look good at the location when you go to the customer and the customer quite be happy with that
Glad to help
Poor shelving choice, get twice the parts with a Hackney shelves. Nice video.
We aren’t a service company. Don’t carry a lot of parts. These shelves hold more then enough for us. Thanks for watching
My van would be for drain cleaning with a
jetter. k45 hand held, some pumps to clear drain
shop vac, camera with reel and pipe fittings etc.
Part time, say 3 or 4 x a week, as i have other comments,
Do i need a high top???
Rylie
The high top is really just nice to stand up in. It’s not completely necessary. You can fit more stuff for sure and save your back. That’s the main thing, but it also comes at a price. So it all depends on what you need and if you’re willing to crouch all the time.
Pretty rad van man. Thanks for the vid
Glad you liked it!
Any videos highlighting the exterior? Is that the all wheel drive version ?
We don’t actually have this van anymore, we are working out of trailers. This van was not the all wheel no. It was a 350 but just 2 wheel drive and single axel in back
@@ThePlumbingGurus thx, Chevy vans is what we use at work mostly, I use a truck with a utility cap on the back with slide outs, all the vans are up fitted with 4x4 by a third party, saying all that chevy isn’t making vans next year so we re looking for another option
It's called a bulk head
Thanks!
