Excellent video! I wish the intro was half as long... it could easily roll twice it’s speed. Like in music, don’t bore us get to the chorus. Very nice gold!
We should have specified it's the largest inland dredge on the Forty Mile River. I couldn't imagine working a 14" dredge...the 10" wears you down after a while. Thanks for sharing your experience and good luck!!!!
I've been thinking about doing the trip...did you two manage to see and hear how well people were doing on a 4" ? That's what I would be working since all my buddies are afraid lol...
They do have 4 inch dredges there but with our group we only ran the 6 inch dredges. Believe it or not you can run a 6" yourself if you are experienced enough. Of course safety is a factor especially if you dive. One of the guys who works up at the camp and helps out runs his personal 4 inch dredge and does good.
Ive been dredging up on the Forty Mile with a 4" ProLine and doing ok, but I spend a lot of time moving larger rocks out of the way that the 4" can't handle. Depends how much overburden you have to deal with to get down to bedrock. They do make good prospecting dredges to locate the streak, then follow up with an 8" or a 10". Good luck, have fun.
There's something in me that conects with Alaska & I can't understand why I love it so much as I live in England but will watch anything about Alaska I can set my eye's & ears on ,once again love the show keep them coming...!!! ☆¿☆
I drilled my intake nozzle for a grizzly to keep the flat rocks out of my line.Try it.Shale is the worse and a few minutes to drill it and put a bar across you nozzle saves hours clearing rocks.
You guys need to teach Vernon how to make some sluice runs!!!!!!! That's what I am talking about!!! Yeah baby yeah, now that's some underwater sluicing going on. Vernon, take a hint and build better and longer and longerrrrrrrr sluice runs. You will see results.
Yes it was...the Fortymile River in the summer gets too shallow for standard boats. The typical method of travel is with a hover craft. Check out the other videos from the series where you get an upclose look of it.
@@fredyaurora9858 not sure if the commercial dredges are on their websites but here they are. www.prolinemining.com/gold_dredges.html www.keeneeng.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=D
Dredges are primarily measured by the internal diameter of the suction hose. A 10" dredge is capable of sucking up a rock with a maximum diameter of 10". A 4" dredge sucks up rocks up to 4" in diameter. Secondary measurement is usually the HP of the engine.
I don't know about that "water detection" machines, but I have been in the mineral and water detection business for about 30 years now and so far I have tested a lot of machines, only to find they did not work and the money spent went down the drain. My water Dowsing is a hundred% accurate and I do it from a photograph off of Google earth images. Of course I find other things also, like precious-metals, graves, crude-oil. I can scan five to ten square miles from a Google Earth image in about a day and mark the water or mineral locations, large and small. I also discriminate the type of element, for example I can tell any one of the six platinum group metals apart from one another. And I can detect all of the stable elements on the chart of elements. I have done over 300 blind tests to this affect. I am not at all limited on depth detection. I did an oil deposit that was 6800 feet deep. Many of my blind teste were private people giving me permission to scan their houses and marking where their values were.
Thank you all for taking the time to watch our video. We have more coming and we hope you will all subscribe!
IS OK
Very cool dredge , makes me wanna grab my pan and head to the creek .......

Finally watched this one. Nice video.

Oh yeah the blaster hose is the way to move the gravel from the cracks. 👀🤔🤠🌵
Great video guys.. love to see more of that 10"..
Good times indeed, thanks for sharing
Cool. At 3:41 the dredge runs in reverse...
Killer dredge!
I would love to see the results after the cleanup from that 10 inch dredge.
An ounce+ gold love watching it.
Wow! Amazing gold! enjoyed the video.
Wow big 10 inch ! Don’t get your hand in front of that thing 👍🇺🇸⚒🍀😎 great adventure
That is a $weet mega sucker! Was really cool to see it in action! Happy vets day by the way!
big time compared to finding pepper flakes in Missouri thanks for sharing.
That dredge is massive! Just started prospecting myself & going to build a small sluice box
Awesome! 👍
That Thing is A Gold Eating Monster Congratulations You Two Are Blowing It Up Nice Gold 💯💪😎🍺💯⛏️🔥
Well done 👍
A 14-inch dredge in Nome Alaska is the largest dredge up there that I believe. I have dredged the Bering Sea in Nome Alaska for almost 10 years.
There is also a 12in dredge in Nome Alaska
My photo reveals that I'm standing on a boat called The Wild Ranger famous on Discovery Channel. It was only an 8 inch dredge
I have worked at 10 in dredge offshore. It's almost too much to handle. You have to put your leg under the hose to keep it from burying itself.

Has to be a monster to wrangle under water.......let alone the possible currents pulling you and the hose and nozzle around......
Thanks you all i like it
Super cool teip, thanks for another great share. BTW, did you hear who won the free trip for next year? I never saw if it was announced.
Not yet. They wont draw the winner till early next year.
That looks like alot of fun

Beautiful containt
I run an 18 inch cutter suction dredge in Florida that pumps sand , that would be awesome to see how much gold you get

What are the chains for hanging from the flair ?
Say hi to Matt Dancer, my first look at the 40mile.

Underflow gate on the 4 side sluices. Your capture rates on the 10” inch dredge are better with that system in play. True believer.......
Whats feeding into the side boxes?
Looks like you guys have been having so much fun I'm glad but you guys are getting to experience all of that #camper i haven't forgotten...😂
Hahahaha....#campertrade #notyet
That's the way to do it loosing the rocks and sand with a pressure hose and let the nozzle suck it up. 👀👍⛏
Can o get some help on the squematics of your build, its the best
love the videos. sorry i dont comment much
real cool, now that is a dredge
================ Wow , that is nice Gold . Well done :-) ===============

We will be back up there this summer!!!
woo hooo first..lol good vid
Hahahahaha....remember Swifty, the Wandering Buffalos make gold mining sexy! See you out in Arizona this week!!!!
How much cost $ to go dredge over there ?
Hi , I see your dredger with good quality, we are interested in your dredger , could you tell where I can buy dredger like yours, How much the price ?
This is a Keene commercial dredge. Keene and Proline are both great manufacturers of sizes such as these and can give you pricing.

Hi Everybody, I want to set-up such a dredging operation in Mali, does any of you can recommend where I can source such a dredge and sluice ? Cheers
That 10 inch is a hog, I am impressed. How many oz did y'all find? Did you guys get to see the cleanups? Fun Fun Fun !!!!
You do mean only large inland "suction dredge" ,right? Cuz the guy on gold rush has a HUGE " bucket dredge".
Correct...was not referring to the bucket line dredges but you make a good point. Thanks for the comment.
an ounce a hour?
wow, that´s something! How many licences and agreements did you need to be allowed to do such a "plunder" ? :D

Exactly.......this is music video of very sucky music....and so far after tens mins the only thing I learned here....she has a hurt wrist.
WoW 😮 10 inches !! Just like me 😂
Ребята класная работа ..возмите поработать.гидрокостюм есть и система дыхания тоже правда попроще чем у вас но надежная ..
Спасибо за просмотр и комментарий. Желаю вам всего наилучшего в ваших приключениях
WHY NOT USE A RUBBER MALLET?
You all realize that " means inches and ' means feet. So you guys are talking about a 10 inch and 4 inch dredge.

If you want people to watch your videos, cut your intro to 10 seconds or less (yours was about 1:40...ridiculous).
Lets hear the equipment running... - turn off that tacky drama music!
tired of listening to that music ,instead try narrating what you have what your doing make this educational
Thanks for the feedback
Dump the bad music and do some good narration of whats happening ?
Over 2 min for an intro, maybe next time.
Honestly..... videos with tens mins of music are a big disappointment
That sucks
