We want to know about VW power stering fluid location and how to replace/fill. Whatever you are showing is way too basic stuff and If anyone does not know that, they shouldn't even drive.
@@JusBus2 no problem man, sorry i dont check my notifications out often, yes it was just some dirt in the joints, i got it fixed by washing the car with a pressure washer steering the wheels to the side and moving it while pressure washing it.
The coolant fluid should NOT be topped off due to expansion. It should be filled between the MIN and MAX line! Also G13 is compatible with G12++ Some tanks still show G12 not G13 as the video shows.
There is a lot wrong with this video, you mentioned windshield washer fluid as "very expensive to buy" I can't tell if you are joking or not lol and you also forgot to include two other important liquids such as the transmission and the brake fluid. You also addressed that the coolant must be the Volkswagen pink formula liquid. This is also not true, yes it might be recommended but many more coolants can work just as fine, as well as the Castrol that's also recommended due to the additives in the oil, you can use other oil brands as long as they meet the viscosity specs. Hope this helps! And for anyone who may be seeing this, most newer VWs typically have electric power steering, requiring no fluid whatsoever.
transmission fluid is underneath the car in most cases. My VW its very difficult to access the transmission fluid. Most cases wrong trans fluid/fluid levels will mess up your transmission permanently. best to let mechanics handle transmission stuff
depending on your model and year the clutch and brake system may be INTEGRATED. Either Way, you can't go wrong using DOT4 as it is formulated to work better in hotter temperatures and fights against moisture buildup better than DOT 3 (technically brake fluid is actually hydraulic fluid) DOT 4 is backwards compatible. DOT3 is ONLY good in DOT3 applications. * I have a 2013 TDI Manual (6 Speed) Be sure not to make my mistake and try to flush and replace the DOT4 Fluid properly about every 50-60k or else you will have expensive issues replacing the slave cylinder when it fails. Even if you go to a professional Non-dealership location to do the proper flush, it shouldn't cost more than $80-$100. Ignore it ? Try more like $900 for repairs because of the location of the slave cylinder. :(
I’ve a problem with my vw beatle break guild is up to level and has been bled by Machanic but pedal goes straight to floor when engine is turned on when off break feels normal is it something to do with the vacuum or is it ABS sensor that’s had it please help very informative was your video
Um... you missed two of the basic fluids, the brake fluid and the power steering fluid. Where/how do I check these two fluids? Thanks!
VW no longer uses hydraulic power steering systems. They use electric power steering, so no more fluid)
Plus, if there is a problem with your VW, the infotainment system on your dash will notify you about low fluids, low tire pressure, etc.

@@oozhaboo I believe 2016 was the last year of hydraulic racks in VW’s.
Any reason why brake oil/fluid isn't covered in this video? It is certainly more important than visor/windshield fluid 🤔.
every vw since 2016 has had electronic power steering, it’s far less important than the water in the puddles you drive over.
He didn’t want to get yucky residue on his hands
Thank you for this but do another one where you include all fluid locations including the power steering, brake fluid and any other not mentioned
Power steering is electric, so no fluid there.
where is the power steering fluid?
It’s electronic
Power steering fluid
What does that mean?
Same
I found this video very useful as a newbie in this department. I will be checking my cars fluids in the morning

Most of them are electrical power steering=no fluid.

Electric Power Steering, not fluid driven anymore.
Great! Forget about transmission: that's not important at all.
This is why I came lmao

Right!
TRANSMISSION???
Exactly wheres the transmission fluid
Have to lift up the car to get to it

Where does the power steering fluid go please
Later model VWs, like the GTI he's using as an example, have electric power steering, so no power steering fluid or pump.
