That was wonderful. I felt transported back to when I was 13 and my Jesuit teachers were bringing ancient history to life! Thanks Ron!❤

Lol. Glad to hear it. Although I make no claim to being part of any priestly class. :-)

My grandfather was the manager of Volubilis during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. The person who stayed there the most and conducted extensive research, because of the importance and mysteries of that archaeological site, was John D. Rockefeller.

I feel that those of us living today don’t marvel at the level of technological skills of ancient civilizations. It’s always impressive to see what they accomplished. Thanks for taking us along Ron.👏🏻👍✌️🤙

So true, G! Even more so when you consider the limited technologies to accomplish such incredible things.

Thank you Ron and you are very welcome in my country of Morocco. I visited the place more than 30 years ago before I moved to the US.
I hope you enjoy all the good food there but more importantly people’s hospitality.
    Best of luck

Hey Marc! So good to hear from you. Trust you're enjoying being in Malaysia. It's too early to say whether I'll be back in Europe during 2024 but I'm certainly not ruling it out.

A lot of Artifacts and statues were taken to be displayed in the Museum of Civilization in Rabat the capital of Morocco, and the French looted many important artifacts and it's now displayed in French museums.
