Hello, we also visited Morocco a month ago, which we present on our channel. Beautiful and oriental. Africa surprised us with its hospitality and its unique face.
I’m heading to tangiers in September and so glad you showed me the bullet train as I am arriving in Casablanca from Montreal. Love all your content. Safe travels ❤
The rail box car you took in is decorated in a very retro style. It feels a bit like an early European train. It’s very beautiful! Your lunches look delicious, and you're right, they look healthy! The alleys you visited also have a European feel and are beautiful! You seemed to have arrived in the most beautiful town. I am looking forward to the next episode. Thank you very much for sharing! 👍😍🙏
Tangier is my favourite city in Morocco. Like you said, not many people stays there, but I found it not only beautiful but also no one ever bother me there. Just very chilled.
I really liked my stay in Tangier. I hired a bike and rode for miles along the Corniche. Chefchaouen was my favourite place though. You must hike up to the sunset viewpoint - amazing views !

Tangier is quite famous actually, it's considered a mecca for artists and there's a long list of notorious Writers, musicians, and painters who lived there for inspiration, the likes of Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, Mark Twain, Daniel Defoe, Paul Bowles, Tennessee Williams, Eugène Delacroix, Henri Matisse and the list goes on. A Little side fact is that Tangier is home to the only American history landmark outside the USA, and the first American diplomatic public property outside of the United States as well, It's called the American ligation of Tangier and it used to be an embassy of the US in Morocco in the 1800s since morocco was the first country to recognize US independence and the two countries have a long diplomatic relationship and the longest unbroken treaty in US history called "the treaty of friendship", the building was built in moorish moroccan style and was gifted by Sultan Selmane of morocco to the United States in 1826 and is now a museum.

Having visited Morocco I am enjoying this series however a bit confused by your comments on Tangier. Being the closest port to Europe historically it is one of the most well known and important cities of Morocco. Also surprised you did not visit the capital Rabat which is a beautiful city with grand boulevards and a Casbah on a cliff overlooking the ocean which is magical. Also, Sale the twin city has popular surfing beaches you can view from the Casbah.
Yes that’s why I said it might just be us that haven’t heard about it. Although there weren’t really that many tourists there compared to places like Essaouira and Marrakesh, seemed to be way more locals in the Medina. We wanted to visit more places on this trip but there is only so much we can do in 3 weeks. Since we have loved it so much we will definitely be coming back though to visit other areas 😊
