I grew up watching the great Kerry teams of the late 70’s & early 80’s when Pat Spillane was in his prime. He as a superb footballer in a team packed full of stars.
Always remember Brian Budd Superstar Champion being asked by Jimmy McGee about Pat Spillane. Brian, what would you say about Pat Spillane. His reply was, “Pat Spillane is a pain in the ass”
