While making this video I learned a lesson: don’t put your potatoes in a blender when making mashed potatoes. I assumed it would make the most smooth and fluffy mashed potatoes ever. The reality is that the fast moving blades tear the starch molecules, and you’re left with a gummy paste that is highly unappetizing.
Over the past couple years on social media, I’ve learned so much about cooking in this exact way. Since I never went to culinary school or anything formal like that, nobody has ever told me things like “don’t blend potatoes”. But I’ve realized, this is the way I like learning!

I stood up my wife on our first date by accident, I was in the military at the time and when I was getting ready for our date I passed out for a couple hours after I made the mistake of laying down after a shower.. I was tired. I called her as soon as I woke up and we ended up just playing cards and having cocktails at her apartment. We've been together for 13 years

You know, it doesn't always has to be ghosting someone or just being disrespectful. For all we know her relative could have an accident an be in a hospital. A lot of stress and in a situation like that you forget less important stuff.

Coulda called a lot earlier. It's not very common that you find yourself in such a situation that you can't even find the 30 seconds it takes to tell someone you can't make it. She called him late because she felt bad. If she didn't feel bad, Max wouldn't have ever got that phone call.

Little late to the party here, but, since you said you focus on the music on tv shows and movies, I highly recommend the sequel spin-off to this show called The Originals. It introduced me to some of my favorite songs.
Separately, I also really liked the instrumental music that they used on another fantasy show “Motherland: Fort Salem”. Not sure that you’d like that show, but even if it’s not your taste, I’d suggest looking up the soundtrack because it’s really great.
