- Join The Peach Truck cofounder Jessica Rose as she walks through the steps of freezing your fresh summer peaches!
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Wash and peel your peaches. Cut an X into each peach's skin and remove peel skin away. If you have trouble removing the skin, you can try blanching the peaches!
2. Slice your peaches. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit. Jessica recommends cutting thicker slices to prevent mush!
3. Prepare your peaches for freezing. Place sliced peaches in a bowl. Add a teaspoon or so of sugar, as well as lemon juice (your preference on amount). Mix peaches up until covered in lemon juice. This will help prevent browning.
4. Write on your ziploc bags prior to filling with peaches (it's easier). Fill bags with peach slices. Roll up to remove all the air, then flatten out so the bag can be laid on a cooking tray and placed in the freezer.
5. Store your peaches. You can store frozen peaches for up to six months. It's the best way to enjoy your summer peaches all winter long!

Excellent.. going to do this today! I like the way you do it best!
Damn girl there’s some missing information going on here… Are we blanching them or we peeling them? What’s the ratio of peaches to sugar to lemon juice?
So if you freeze them now how Lon g can they last frozen?
No peeling?
Looks beautiful, but the directions are missing everything.
